The 1/4” outputs on the Helix are balanced, just like the XLR outputs. So if you use a 1/4” TRS cable you can go direct to FOH without needing a DI box. But if you use an UNbalanced 1/4” TS cable then you need a DI box.

From the UK here. Ive just bought a line 6 Helix and really want to know how to use it, either through and amp, FRFR or PA. Cheers
