I imagine this is going to be one of the best 40’ sports boats in the market for a while. Really modern touches everywhere and it all looked top quality. Great tour again Jack & team, thanks. Enjoy the show!!
Fully agreed. Would be interesting to have some background info on gross margin etc., but in general I also thought: “even with astronomical inflation, they can’t list for more than 700.000 £”.
@@tr5065 1Mill Pounds would roughly buy you: A Luxury Central London Apartment: With £1 million, you could easily buy a stylish and spacious apartment in a desirable central London location like Chelsea, Kensington, or Fitzrovia. These apartments feature modern fittings, balconies with city views, and close proximity to world-class restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Think high-end finishes, rooftop terraces, and maybe even a concierge service. Diverse Investment Portfolio: £1 million provides a springboard for building a diversified investment portfolio in the UK. Property funds: Gain exposure to the UK property market without the hassle of directly buying and managing a property. Consider funds focused on residential, commercial, or specific regions. Gold: As a traditional hedge against inflation, allocating a portion of your portfolio to gold bullion or gold-backed ETFs can add stability and diversify your holdings. Dreamy Country Estate: Depending on the specific location and size, £1 million could unlock the doors to a charming country estate in the UK. Imagine rolling hills, quaint villages, and your own private haven with a period manor house, acres of land, and perhaps even a stable or gardens. Probably the best boat under 12 meters. And it does have a canopy, doesn't it? Anyway, a dream boat to have. Fairline has set a new standart for other 40 ft boats.
I am really taken with this boat. Total quality and some really nice design and storage features. A real winner from Fairline. Can't wait to see the sea trial, especially if you take it through the Needles as another viewer has suggested. 👍👍👍.
Stunning boat, but the price is absurd. What happened to prices these last years? Inflation, sure, but that doesn’t warrant a 50% increase in 3-4 years.
Thanks for the video, but you REALLY need to adjust the volume levels. The music/sound effects is extremely high and the voice i very low. The Saxdoor video had this problem too.
Why does everyone want to drive with their head out of the sunroof?? Here’s the challenge Jack. Take it through the Needles Channel on a sprightly day stood up with your head outside the roof. See how bruised and battered you become. In rough weather you know it’s better to be standing and that low roof (when shut) limits that option. Great review as ever
@@SilvaPirithere’s a fair few of the older models singing their way around The Solent. I’m tall so I hate being cramped, hence my narrow mindedness. I just tend to think yacht designers are like airline interior designers… all 5’4” tall! Anyway Jack does a great job, much as Hugo and Nick on their respective channels.
Hi Jack - if we're talking about king of the 40ft'ers what would you use between this and the Botnia Targa 41? Two differing boats with both usurping one another on varying aspects - personally I'd like a blend between the two but does that even exist?
@@Yachtbuyer That's a good shout Jack. Recall you picked out a Marex as your choice on a MBY collab with Nick B a while back. Their canopy deployment is a touch of simplicity I rate.
Great seeing you there Jack, sick boat (we looked over her twice) and also shocking to here Princess are stopping the V40 (if that’s true) which means Fairline have got a home run 🛥️👍🏼
Nice boat, but afraid the price will be a bit stiff for people in the 40-foot class. The boat will operate in Europe, but not in Nordic countries such as Norway, Sweden and Finland. Bavaria R40 wins by far
Is it manufactured from recycled plastic bottles and discarded designer fabrics? Is it powered by electric solar/wind recharged motors? Luxury is the problem, not the small dairy farmer that produces food.

The price of this shocked me. £834,194 ex VAT is insane!
Fully agreed. Would be interesting to have some background info on gross margin etc., but in general I also thought: “even with astronomical inflation, they can’t list for more than 700.000 £”.
£1m inc vat. Mental. New prices have gone utterly mad in the last 4 years, both sail and power.
Why don’t you put the 30,000 thousand pound balcony “option” towards a bigger boat?

Wow
She is definitely a beautiful yacht, great colours and finishes and surprisingly spacious for its size. Great tour thank you.
Our pleasure, Sean 🫡
Beautiful, quality boat, but £840k for 40', wow... 😮
Succinct, to the point, honest (especially with owner’s cabin), well presented and a great boat it seems.
Lovely sleek design
Great to see these are still made.
Nice boat and great video, as ever. Would be interesting to see Princess' reply with an updated V40.
I like the direction that Fairline is going. Thanks Jack
My pleasure, John! - Jack
What a great looking boat.
Beautiful boat but that price tag is out of this world ! You could get a 50ft with that just a couple years ago.
Almost a Sunseeker Manhattan 52 not too long ago!
Yer missed 'the crockery' 😅. Excellent video as always. Really loving Fairline's new designs... 🇬🇧
🥴
Probably the best boat under 12 meters. And it does have a canopy, doesn't it? Anyway, a dream boat to have. Fairline has set a new standart for other 40 ft boats.
It does, yes, forgot to mention that - sorry! - Jack

Oh we will, don’t worry! 😜
Great video! Another award-winner from Fairline no doubt.
Stunning really, great design layout and finish. 👍❤️🇬🇧
fabulous boat nice touches esp the radar arch last targa have been very sucessful so sure this will be but yea price is shocking eyewatering
Excellant 40 footer.. Great tour always love your videos

Thanks for bringing this to us nice and early. It’s a terrific looking boat from them. Can’t wait to do my own review at some point soon.
Another great tour from Jack🎉
i love it!!!! stunning boat
nice boat, good video!
Would love to see a walkthrough of the Schaefer 375 if you’re still there. It looks like it ticks all the boxes!!
Love that intro 👌
We had good times
I would love a tour of the whole show
That would be a loooooooooong video!
Another great video
Thanks! 🙏
Saw the review of this last night, fanastic boat, it will sell like hotcakes
I think I could afford the 2.3m zodiac
Stunning boat, but the price is absurd. What happened to prices these last years? Inflation, sure, but that doesn’t warrant a 50% increase in 3-4 years.
Nice video.. great work like always … but more than 900k€ for a 40ft??? Really??? 😂 no way..
Thanks for the video, but you REALLY need to adjust the volume levels. The music/sound effects is extremely high and the voice i very low. The Saxdoor video had this problem too.
Thanks for the comment, we’ve addressed the volume issues 👍

This looks like a Med focused pleasure yacht. Not sure they gave choppy weather much of a thought.

Good boat for the med.

Now that’s an interesting question… One boat that springs to mind: Marex 440. What do you think? - Jack

It looks like a million dollars, gulp!
Why on earth are they not offering the fabulous Volvo D6 440’s?? That would make it the perfect boat for its size
Price is mind blowing
Course the extra list on her is huge think 250k so if that was less price wouldnt be so eyewatering
Hi Jack, when is the Botnia Targa 41 review coming? 😁
⌛️
I was on it today, I think it’s a bit special! just need some well produced video evidence to convince the wife!
It’s up!
Can it accommodate a sea keeper?
Good question. Yes, a Seakeeper 4 is an option - Jack
£1m for a British built sub-40 foot boat?
jack why did you not drive the bloody thing you normally do nice boat though
I will! - J

You said £23000 extra for a generator ?
Where’s the ice maker?

I don't care who you are or how much disposable cash you have, who in their right mind is paying that kind of money for that boat

Almost a Million Dollars? Nice boat but I shall pass...
