I’m thinking the same thing. I’m pretty sure it’s a circle hook because he only applied pressure by reeling for the hook set. If you do a traditional pull on rod hook set with a circle hook, you’ll pull it out of the fishes mouth. I’m thinking circle hook though.

No fishing from the park area shore and there's no trespassing all around the inlet. My guess is they don't want people parking there who aren't boating.
Great video, i heard Rudees inlet has been PACKED. I haven't made a trip up there this year yet, but want to soon. There is a spot near The JRB, called Huntington Beach you should come check out. I found a sand flat holding reds and trout, caught them in my last video. I'm assuming you live in VA beach, its about 40 mins from you. At any rate, stay safe and thanks for the good content.

Its not necessary to pop them with live mud minnows but I still do it occasionally and it helps
