I started using this exact setup vs live shrimp. Caught better quality fish on the Marker 54 jerk shrimp exactly like the one you're showing us. Great video captain. Be safe on the water and keep these videos coming.
Great information that you shared today my friend. Fisherman can learn a lot just booking a trip with you. It’s more than just catching fish it’s an experience in learning the details of fishing.
Just a shout out Captain Justin thank you for the gift about the shrimp that swims the right way with the popping Court unlimited out in 10 minutes all of them 18 and 19 in Texas City Dike tideline captain thank you again my friend and be safe
Great video ! Ima give that a shot cause I’m getting bored with my method … it works but still getting old , Carolina rig wit dead shrimp , last weekend was slow , fished the copano bay Newcomb bend , only three drums , made great civiche though , great video thanks again
Fishing Kayak is there a good way to keep shrimp alive without using a trolling bait bucket,( hate pulling those) read somewhere cool damp newspaper works all day but Idk, any thoughts?
I have never tried scent with the cork and shrimp lures. I have tried with paddle tails but if it's that tough, I switch to Gulp instead. It never hurts to add scent though. See you this week Wayne!

Can you recommend a good rod for the popping cork? Brand length and power would be great. Thanks
A 7' to 7'6" medium fast or medium heavy both work well for a popping cork. Laguna Salt Custom Rods are great! www.lscustomrods.com/

I have never found a good way for live bait in a kayak. I use frozen shrimp or cut bait instead.
Awesome video Capt. Very educational. Where can u buy marker 54 jerk shrimp? They do look more natural.
Thank you! I get them at Tackle Town in Rockport or online marker54.com
