What a cool idea!!! Who'd a thunk it?!? Great colors, with a touch of help from you, with your experience at mixing colors. Impressed again, Chris, with what you're able to do!!!!
Those craws are amazing. When you opened them up I thought man I could use a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream to watch this with. Great video. Might have to sneak some of the kids chalk now.
I'm enjoying your excellent videos, although I not in a position to make my own plastic baits, your work has given me ideas that I can use in coloring some of my white soft plastics. THIS IS AWESOME!!!
Ur awesome a true pioneer of the trade u blow our minds with the things u come up with what are u going to use next?? Can't wait to see is what is next
this is the kind of stuff i was talking about... out side the box ! solar baits made a swim bait out of hot glue... have you ever done that ? the swim bait reminded me of the old bomb pops that you used to get off the ice cream truck when we were kids ! nice video Chris !
Wow!! Beautiful baits! I really loved the green and blue shades the most. Have you tried using spices for pigment? Turmeric, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, the dry bullion powders like chicken... bet you could get some nice colors from there. I actually put a bit of turmeric in my rice for a bit of lovely yellow color.
Love the content!! You have me wanting to make my own plastics!! I have been looking around to get me some things together to start out and was wondering where you buy your flake and your Injectors at. Keep the videos coming and cant wait to see what you do next!!
I've often used chalk powder as a colourant in my epoxy resin projects but never considered it could also work with plastisol. Good to know for when i finally invest in lure making gear instead of just watching youtube vids about it.
Coffee grinder would do wonders here. But my god the results are mind blowing. Never would though this would work as the pigment isn’t dense enough. Wow. The hand pours are my favs. Clear winner! Chalk this up as a win Chris 😂
Nice! ill have to try that. I think you should try RIT clothes dye and corn starch! I haven't seen a video you doing any of those (At least I haven't seen one) Good video as usual! Looking forward to the next one!
Those turned out better than i expected for sure. Nice idea! Would it be worth it to pour the plastisol thru a colander or a sift to get rid of the majority of clumps tho?
Really sweet looking Bates never would have thought chuck would work question or more of the comment of suggestion how about triple injecting a swimbait koi your ear always doing me like a trout or bluegill or something but what about a koi fish
These look great! Are you able to make ribbontail worms with a white tail with a purple body? I used to use these all the time in my early days of fishing and where do you sell your baits? I am failing new to your channel. Thanks!
Was the lake in California Castaic? Famous trout swimbaits and thats also my home lake. Game & fish plants trout here year around so the Hawgs have something to eat.
New fan here. I'm seeing good things. Just curious. Would vacuum potting the chalk in stick form before crushing help some for clumps and bubbles? Thanks.
Thought, until seeing this video you could only use colours specially made for plastic, well you certainly proved that wrong. Who would have believed it chalk! I've been trying to find you Facebook page, and online shop without luck, could you give me the links to them please. Also being in the UK some idea of postal prices, as would love to use some of your baits for sea fishing, bass, Pollack and wrasse. Many thanks 😊
I have definitely learned a few things from watching your videos. The main thing I've learned which might seem silly is that there are different plastics for different lures. I probably should have known that seeing how swimbaits are puffer then a standard worm.🎣🇺🇸🐟
Chris what happens if you mix the chalk in worm oil? Does it help with the clumping? Great video. The last video inspired me to make the green pumpkin blue high light tubes, can't wait to fish them in upper Michigan tomorrow!
Try to put the chalk in a coffee grinder then sift it thought a fine mesh sieve. Hope it works love your videos, you've inspired me to start making baits. I'm probably going to try this before I go and buy colors lol
Hahaha this was fun..which ones were your favorite??
World's Worst Fishing how u doin, u should make another boat cid

What a cool idea!!! Who'd a thunk it?!?
Great colors, with a touch of help from you, with your experience at mixing colors.
Impressed again, Chris, with what you're able to do!!!!
Your vids made me start making my own homemade soft plastics on my channel! Great vid!
Glad to hear it!
I've been fishing awhile and I've never seen anything as cool as this
Love the experimenting with different items for color!
Every time you giggle I can tell your having fun. Neat trick!

The ecto craw looks like the ecto slime on Ghostbusters and the hand pour reminds me of those rocket popsicles.

My favorite bait maker post while I’m quarantined until I get my Covid test back and got first Senko mold for my birthday.

Love em all. They came out great especially the swimbait #greatvid
Very awesome.
Love it. Was watching your vid on the making the divider cup and thinking can you make a divider for a presto pot ?
My favorite the swim bait came out killer!!!!
It might help to run the chalk dust through a fine mess strainer or sieve to help from clumping?
I love the red/white/blue version, m8! Just like i suggested before, a dutch piece of candy for our zander and perch! Would love to try them out ;)
My new favorite channel
@@timweakley6565 🙏🙏
Who would know chalk would work i sure like the green craw.good job Chris

That’s great. The craw and bug was my favorite
Ed bassmaster “would ya look at that” 😂😂
I can’t believe it worked so well!
haha
The green is really cool
it turned out nice
I'm enjoying your excellent videos, although I not in a position to make my own plastic baits, your work has given me ideas that I can use in coloring some of my white soft plastics. THIS IS AWESOME!!!

Glad you like them!
this is the kind of stuff i was talking about... out side the box ! solar baits made a swim bait out of hot glue... have you ever done that ? the swim bait reminded me of the old bomb pops that you used to get off the ice cream truck when we were kids ! nice video Chris !
Ok i have to buy some chalk to try. Very nice idea
Go for it!
Got my 4'' open pour a few days ago. Fished with them today and they have great action. FLC
Would nail polish work?
if oil based then yes probably
World's Worst Fishing I would like to see that
I'm definitely going to try this
You should!
Thx for the vid
thx for watching
World's Worst Fishing no problem
Love the content!! You have me wanting to make my own plastics!! I have been looking around to get me some things together to start out and was wondering where you buy your flake and your Injectors at. Keep the videos coming and cant wait to see what you do next!!
lureworks and basstackle
Awesome!! Thanks man!!
I've often used chalk powder as a colourant in my epoxy resin projects but never considered it could also work with plastisol. Good to know for when i finally invest in lure making gear instead of just watching youtube vids about it.
Man u killing it u are the I like the swim bait
Chalk stick when I was a kid was so much fun.
Yes indeed
The clumps give it caricature 🤙
Can you use food coloring ? what do you use for clear coating ?
Coffee grinder would do wonders here. But my god the results are mind blowing. Never would though this would work as the pigment isn’t dense enough. Wow. The hand pours are my favs. Clear winner! Chalk this up as a win Chris 😂
It was definitely a pleasant surprise
So did they not bleed in the bath? Pretty awesome if the withstood the bath.
Nice! ill have to try that. I think you should try RIT clothes dye and corn starch! I haven't seen a video you doing any of those (At least I haven't seen one) Good video as usual! Looking forward to the next one!
Those junebug frogs are bad ass!
Those turned out better than i expected for sure. Nice idea! Would it be worth it to pour the plastisol thru a colander or a sift to get rid of the majority of clumps tho?
A laminate stick bait with the green and blue together would work wonders on largemouth bass during the bluegill spawn.
Really sweet looking Bates never would have thought chuck would work question or more of the comment of suggestion how about triple injecting a swimbait koi your ear always doing me like a trout or bluegill or something but what about a koi fish
Would a hand mixer battery operated or 120v mixer at mixing versus a spoon getting rid of the clumps?
These look great! Are you able to make ribbontail worms with a white tail with a purple body? I used to use these all the time in my early days of fishing and where do you sell your baits? I am failing new to your channel. Thanks!
The mint chocolate chip craw was crazy good for a simple color
What size eyes do u use for the 4” swim bate
so Chris Jones... HOW MANY TIMES were you reminded to grab the injector barrel with the GLOVED HAND!!!??? This was a neat view... Thanks for sharing!!
You are insane and one cool dude I would have never thought about that! Chris keep up the insanity.
I kinda dig the clumbs it adds a nice texture. Its almost looks like you added a very small amount of a flake
Was the lake in California Castaic? Famous trout swimbaits and thats also my home lake. Game & fish plants trout here year around so the Hawgs have something to eat.
Shasta I think
New fan here. I'm seeing good things. Just curious. Would vacuum potting the chalk in stick form before crushing help some for clumps and bubbles? Thanks.
Where do you buy ur molds from??
If I try this is a vacuum chamber necessary as I haven't gotten one? Thanks Chris
i think it is
Thought, until seeing this video you could only use colours specially made for plastic, well you certainly proved that wrong. Who would have believed it chalk!
I've been trying to find you Facebook page, and online shop without luck, could you give me the links to them please. Also being in the UK some idea of postal prices, as would love to use some of your baits for sea fishing, bass, Pollack and wrasse. Many thanks 😊
Where do you get your molds from
He cracks me up
Looks good there. Next time make it with the orange instead of the red.
How do you make your molds fro the baits
Can you try chalk line power? I know they make it in different colors now.
Hi, were can I order some of your baits
I have definitely learned a few things from watching your videos. The main thing I've learned which might seem silly is that there are different plastics for different lures. I probably should have known that seeing how swimbaits are puffer then a standard worm.🎣🇺🇸🐟
I think highlighter ink would be interesting to see. Might try it out myself.
very interesting
Green chalk was the best it came out with a good color
It was really a pretty shade
Yes it was
Hi, what kind of respirator should I get to make lures?
That blue in those red white and blue swimbaits almost looks like it’s glowing!!!! 😱
Chris what happens if you mix the chalk in worm oil? Does it help with the clumping? Great video. The last video inspired me to make the green pumpkin blue high light tubes, can't wait to fish them in upper Michigan tomorrow!
it might dont know
I think you should grind the chalk to a finer texture and add it slowly while mixing to get rid of the chalk clumping

That first color without the black flake looks like mountain dew Baja blast. I would like to see it with blue pearl added to it.
That light green would be killer with blue flake. !
Try to put the chalk in a coffee grinder then sift it thought a fine mesh sieve. Hope it works love your videos, you've inspired me to start making baits. I'm probably going to try this before I go and buy colors lol
def try it haha
Where can we buy your lures
