Exactly a video I was hoping you would do!! Good inspiration for a few new ideas. Another retrospect suggestion would be to do a full black section for the tail end of the body right below the ribbed section. 👍🏼
Chris there’s a person on a web site trying to sell open pour molds with your logo on the the website acting like your affiliated with them Just thought I’d let you know !!
Thanks, Chris for another great, inventive, artistic way to use scrap plastic!! Giving me more incentive to pull the trigger on my own bait making hobby. Favorites this video? The featured color mash up!!
20:08 now that is actually really realistic in my opinion I live in Pennsylvania and when I look at the craw fish in the water they actually look like that. Not so much that pattern but the color yes, but when you take them out of the water their color changes to a more natural looking brown. Great job !
Great video as usual Chris. Even though I can't pour baits, I can learn color schemes for my injection molds. I always use my pucks and make different colors. They are all one of a kind, no recipes here! Thanks for the video, and it was good to see Happy Jack!
They all look super great, but I really like the flashy purple/chartreuse madness. But man, those spiny lobster aka Miami Dolphins looks super cool as well! Really diggin' the mold and your hand pours in 'em!
Miami dolphins lobster 🦞. Those where an amazing blend. I haven't started open mold pouring yet but I do a lot of injection molds. sometimes a little open pour mixed with injection mold works out nice. Super glad for the knowledge I acquired watching your channel.
Hate to admit it but I’ve had the mold since your video and went fishing, still haven’t used it yet. Gonna make some Okeechobee up for a upcoming trip. Great video on what’s possible. Thanks Chris
Honest Chris that's a hard decision. I like the color of the day it would fit in pretty well. The Red is choice but your Miami Dolphins, rrrrrrrr very sharp. Really good job. Thanks for sharing.
I watched your other videos and I’m getting into recycling my old baits. When you melt them down and remold them, can they lose their integrity? I bought a couple lures from someone but the lures were as durable as marshmallows. I was wondering what would cause that and how to prevent it. Love your videos man!!
Im willing to bet you have never done what I've never done. Mass produced pancakes at a pancake house. But I have seen it done presentation cooking in a waterfront park. Really interesting tool holds the batter and a single hand squeezes puts out the same batter blop over and over and on the griddles they were doing two or three dozen pancakes at a go. Hand pouring looks like it could do with a small volume hand held heated tool like that :), something with three adjustments, portal hole size, volume on dispense, and a holding temperature setting. I'd imagine it would be somewhere between a glue gun and an airbrush but using heating tech like the USB soldering irons. It would also have to be at a price that you could buy them in a three or six pack. Or maybe 3 or 6 "vials" that plug into an electrical maintenance heating block like one of those multi-battery charge stations and pop one out use it, pop it back onto the station move to the next color. Trouble is, I can imagine it only :/
Yeah the key would be heat..the plastic will clog up any fine nozzle very fast if not kept at extreme temperatures.. would be a lot of trouble in my opinion
@@WorldsWorstFishing Yup, would be a heck of a task to do and probably uphill at that!! I really like the final outcome on these bates and yes have to agree the the partially encapsulated chartreuse really does work!
I think it would be cool to lay a thin black vein line ...In the long axis of the mold. Blue tips and red dots in the claw. Then dark green for the back, paprika brown for belly.
Actually Instant Potatoes, what kind of white or tan color do your think it would give the baits especially if you have the flavored options Garlic Butter Baby red with the skins on cheesy
Hey Chris I am 14 and I have been making my own for a couple of months and I was trying to find out the best way to make baits without spending a lot of money
I thought the remelt color was cool then you broke out the dolphin! Not sure if these colors would catch any fish in my area but the baits would catch me in the tackle shop 😂🤘🏻
Can you mix 2 types of plastic in one mold? Example, sinking plastic with floating plastic. Might give some unique bait characteristics. Possible a neutrally buoyant bait.
Strange question... so the same way you attach the plastisol skirt, I wonder if you could do the same thing with the ninja mold. So every ninja mold makes two, but with the heat/weld you would be making one bait using both hand pours. I wonder... 🤔
Are you going to try these Next time you go fishing? I’d be curious to see what type of reaction the colors get! The “spiny lobster” would look sick in a craw mold!
...well sadly I'm calling this the last video of yours that I'll watch,,I just can't stand the idea of you calling the Pinchers on a crawfish "Tails" it's the petty crap that gets me 😂
Let's blow the comments up with all different kinds of sandwiches! Lol just kidding. I actually like the 2 you didnt do in the video best. I think they came out a lot better looking cause you were actually trying to replicate something. The video itself was cool though just showing what you could do with remelt.
Thanks for watching!! Remelt for the win!!

Sorry the last post. Was an accident. Love your fun videos. Keep them coming.
You should make some dark purple/chartreuse baits
Haven’t watched since before June 2020 I’m so glad you still doing same content keep it up 👍
It’s fun watching you go into remelt Mad Scientist mode. Gotta say those bright colored pours are saucy, not expected but look like bass candy to me.
they are def gonna get attention
Another great video. Love your work. And yes..... Firehouse subs are awesome.
That green and purple pucks would look great with like a green base and purple specs or flake
👍
Love the red ones...What hook application would you use on the ginger ninjas?
I would love to see you color match the havoc big Texan creature bait color
Yeah that is an awesome color

It looks like it would be good for salt water.
Your best video ever
I think you should try sticking two of them together back to back as a mega beaver bait
You are a master at hand pouring. Love the effects you can achieve. Oh yea the red craw was my favorite.
Thanks Dave
Chris, nicely done ad ve interesting
Thanks
The Miami Dolphins lobster one has to be my favorite hate the name but love the color
Haha it was freaking hard!!
Love the craw look
I just bought the ginger ninja mold!! Super excited 😆

How do you come up with the cool color designs. Also do you have any suggestions on what hand pour molds would be good for beginners
I look at nature slot for color inspiration

Nice baits! Fire house...hook and ladder is meal!

Fav is the red craw but the black/purple/chart tails are gorgeous. 👍🍺🎣

Firehouse Club on a Sub 😉 it’s pretty much the hook & ladder plus bacon!
Haha does sound good
How do you store remelt pucks? Will the plastisol ruin Tupperware?
I like the ginger ninja, but is it an effective beaver style bait? Will it catch fish?
as any other bait of this profile would/could/should
Love the red craw
Miami Lobster Color is AMAZING~!
Thanks 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What would be a good beginner aluminum open poor mold? I was thinking AI 4 or 5" swim bait but I like that finesse worm with diamond tail you do
The mold in this video is actually really good for beginners
Calico or candy bug ...is a great name for that color pattern
💪💪

Also how do you jerk your plastic warm enough to keep pouring continuously. Also what kind of blend do you use for those baits
There's no real trick to it you just start pouring once the plastic is ready
How do you make those metal molds i’m trying to make my own baits but I don’t know how to make them.
They are cut from aluminum using CNC machines

Chris i need your help where did u get you bags with your logo at i been going thru hell trying to find a company
You have to get them from China and you have to get several thousand at a time.. it's not a smart investment for a startup bait company
@@WorldsWorstFishing then who would you suggest cause i need some asap
Could you stick two of those together too make one solid full bait
yes indeed
The red craw one closely followed by the remelt you did in the video.
💪💪
Once I get a boat and off the bank is need some of these
🙏🙏
Hey Chris I am 14 and I have been making my own for a couple of months and I was trying to find out the best way to make baits without spending a lot of money
I suggest staying with open pour silicone molds
plastics. Paprika would make a great crawl color.
Looks like an old Bandit crank bait color called “Mad Cow”
I thought the remelt color was cool then you broke out the dolphin! Not sure if these colors would catch any fish in my area but the baits would catch me in the tackle shop 😂🤘🏻
Haha yeah the lobster thing was intense
Can you mix 2 types of plastic in one mold? Example, sinking plastic with floating plastic. Might give some unique bait characteristics. Possible a neutrally buoyant bait.
Yes you can absolutely do that
Try to make pike lures
