I really hope Crossway would give one of their truly compact bibles (or the pocket Bible) the heirloom treatment with the Horween leather. With the good paper, those small bibles would be so much more readable and useable. Something like the Oxford or Cambridge ruby edition (or R.L. Allan), but in ESV.

I love the idea of using this kind of leather on bibles that wears in beautifully with use. It reminds me of breaking in a brand new baseball glove.

Well, this is one year later and no one has the Horween Bible, either in Omega or Legacy. Either out of stock, unavailable, or in Crossways statement, out of print. I was looking forward to buying one of these after watching this video, but I guess that's life.

Thanks, Beau, for making the comparison. I have been using a Heritage for about a week now and looking forward to the improvements you describe. The Heritage is thicker than the Omega and Legacy so I can see where it might wear differently. But the ribbons are driving me nuts. :)

Man oh man! These Horween Bibles are fantastic looking. 🤩 I love how the Omega patina’d over that short period of time you’ve used it and it looks so nice. I have both the NEW Omega and the Legacy in GS and they’re seriously one of the most beautiful Bibles I’ve seen. Love the channel and what you do. Keep it up!
