Hi, wondering what you think the best ratio between drive and the driven pulley would get the best result?

What belt do you have on that machine?

The belt is the original belt that came on the lathe. there is no part number.

Hey my man, Do you have the 1500 watt motor setup for that exact lathe?

That lathe has our 750 watt motor on it. This is the best motor for this lathe. Consider this: Most manufactures motors have 1/4 to 1/2 as much torque as our motors.
Our 750 watt produces 10 NM torque
Most other brands you need a 1500W to produce this much torque

the lead screw ontheser have a crappy design. i am going to be switching to an TR16 and make a new half nut for it. i have upgraded the bushings on both ends to be bearings. once I get me bed leveled from a machine shop with a surface grinder I will start doing re-assembly work and doing work to stiffen the bed to remove rear flex that are common to be seen on these lathes.

@@onemischiefmaker7032 Right now all machines we have are Demonstrators used to test upgrades on. When the build in is finished on this machine will be listed for sale on our site. However we only ship upgrades. Whole machines are a local pick up only item.
