Great as always, Steve - thank you! I always remember Billy Mumy as the terrible kid with the powers that destroyed people, so everyone was overly nice to him just in case on The Twilight Zone.

This show came out when myself and my siblings were just kids, we LOVED this show! When I see it now it's so corny and silly and low budg. Yes the innocence of childhood! My fav character by far was Dr. Smith. I always felt he just stole that show. Thanks for a trip back in time!

I adored this show and I don't think I ever missed an episode. I'm in England and thought the show ran longer than three years, it certainly left an impact, at least on me. I also didn't realise there was a real person in the robot and I tried but I can't pick out a favorite, loved them all

What a great video Steve! Big fan of anything Erwin Allen! You stopped at the grave of David D Rose for a second! He wrote "The Stripper!" theme and also music for shows like Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, Bonanza, and Highway Patrol! He was also married to Judy Garland ! Thanks Steve!

My favorite is the sweetheart, Jonathan Harris. He lived next door to my high school boyfriend and their street is a culdesac. When we weren’t cruising Van Nuys Blvd we would be hanging out on the culdesac and Mr. Harris would come out for a visit once in a while. Always so sweet and kind.

Hi Steve! Shabbat Shalom from Israel. My father told me he began wearing turtle neck shirts like Will Robinson wore when he was in kindergarden. I think my father is just a few years younger than you. He is a sweet man like you; one of the reasons I enjoy your shows so much.

When I was a little kid (younger than age 8), I remember seeing old reruns of Lost In Space for the first time. I recall finding Dr. Smith’s character mean and creepy! He was always yelling, acting sinister, and everyone seemed much nicer and respectful to him than he deserved. Of course, later, I came to appreciate the Dr. Smith character much more ... but he really was the quintessential “bubble headed booby”!

My own age and mortality keep being brought to light by SO many of the people I grew up with, or around ( like on TV) are dead and gone. Thank goodness for memories and the ability to sometimes visit their resting places. Refreshing that some of the Lost in Space cast is still alive. June is amazing... I will always remember her best as Timmy's Mom on Lassie.

I only remember a few episodes from this show but even as a kid back then I couldn’t get over the fact how cheesy the show was. Some kids couldn’t be fooled. Hi Steve ! Thanks for another great video. My favorite character was Dr. Smith. Jonathan Harris, who played the prissy, posh character was actually born and raised in "Da Bronx' NYC. His real accent was quite different than his professional accent, although through very hard work over the years his chosen accent became almost permanent.

One of the most remembered lines in TV. "Danger Will Robinson!" Irwin Allen was in to low budget. As a matter of fact, if you watch Lost In Space, Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, Land Of The Giants and Time Tunnel closely, you will see many of the same set pieces, especially the electronic stuff, interchanged between all the shows. I loved that cheesy sy fy stuff!

I've seen some rerun episodes of the show, I recall Bill Mumy quite well. DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! I did enjoy the movie that they did. Also, Bill's daughter Lilliana Mumy is an actress. She was on 2 of the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen. She also does a voice for Nickelodeon's The Loud House. I have an 8 year old, so there's that. 😆 Also (sorry so long), can I make a request? Could you do The Wild Wild West cast/crew? I know Robert Conrad recently passed, and Ross Martin is buried in Mt. Sinai Memorial Cemetery in LA. Thanks again for a wonderful trip down memory lane, though your memories are a little older than mine.😉

When I was a kid, yes, back in the 60s, I thought, when you turned off the TV, it was like hitting the stop button on the VCR. So, when, later in the day, you turned it back on, the show you had been watching would pickup from when you turned it off. I remember how sad I was when my mom explained how TV actually worked. “Lost in Space,” was the show that inspired learning that tragic life lesson. “What do you mean? How can the show keep going if the TV is off?” It seemed impossible to me at 5. 😂😂😂 I was fit to, “Crush, kill, destroy.” May all these actors, living and deceased, find peace. They sure made a lot of kids very happy.❤

I believe that I caught some screenings of the show while in its initial broadcast, although I don't recall much about them. (I suppose that they didn't have any real impact to be memorable for me, regretfully.) Auntie worked w/ Guy Williams on several "Zorro" episodes. She also appeared in one installment of the "Lassie" TV series, but not w/ June Lockhart as the latter had already departed from the show by then (although Gloria participated on a different TV program alongside Lockhart's father, Gene.)

@@thedoxinator3934 Ah yes, another "classic". Apparently the catfight depicted in the film was rather tame as opposed to another take whereby Auntie and Coleen Gray really got down (that shot should have been used in the sequence instead). Oh well, @ least she got her sweet revenge in the long run; never mess w/ a woman's pineal gland, I always say...

This really bought back memories of my childhood, one of my favourite tv shows was F Troop, would love it if you could do a video on that show

Wow last night I was thinking I wonder when you would be doing the video on LIS my favorite sci fi show of the 60s. I have gone to many cast reunion tours and have autographs of all the actors except Guy Williams. Thanks for this video. Another great one.

Awesome vlog Steve. This was one of my favorite shows. Jonathon Harris was so evil and so likable at the same time as Doctor Smith. He was always credited at "Special Guest Star". There is a video where he talks about how and why he is credited that way on "Lost in Space".
