    THANK YOU!!! That was driving me nuts! Not even the dealership knew how to turn it off. I hate that feature.

    I want thank you very much for all your videos about maserati I love it, specially the Ghibli 2018 GranSport, I just bought one new ( Luxembourg) a ghibli Gransport SQ4 I will receive it in Jully
    I did a teste of the LEVANTE ( on my chanel) where I do a test of lane keep assist, it is amasing in the highway but on the small streets, it is not always very good, as the steering wheel is pushing all the time to the one side or other, you fell the force on your hands - I did a test of it in the highway with no hands- car driving on his own for a few seconds, it is pretty good as if you are tired or fell asleep the car avoid the accident and gives you an alarm very loud ( on my teste video of the Levante)

    You dont know how useful this would be for people here in NJ lol. The amount of cars I see veering off their lanes scares me

    Excellent video Ron! Now all I need is a maserati :(

      hehe!! I agree Doc. I was joking of course. I got most options on my Giulia but left out the driver assistance static and dynamic packages. As you stated, we don't really need them. If you begin to rely on them, well, that could be bad news in the end (especially when you need to get a rental car which is less well equipped). Enough said, enjoy your day sir.

    I tried it and was amazed but it’s a bit nerve racking just testing. Still thinking how the test the collision feature. Was thinking about using a big foam to see if the car will detect and hit the brakes

    • @RonsRides
      @RonsRides  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I havent tried the collision feature just because I dont want to put myself in that type of scenario where I'd have to use it and something goes wrong. I still get nervous since these aren't my vehicles.

    • @martynh5410
      @martynh5410 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And.... if it was your vehicle, I'll bet that you still wouldn't be too comfortable trying this test!

      I agree it’s nerve racking for sure, even with mine.

    What if you want to swerve to avoid pothole or debris in lane?

    • @RonsRides
      @RonsRides  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats a good question. I dont think the system kicks in that quickly but I can always give it another try.

    I like the video, but I feel a camera mount and an additional camera out side would greatly improve the video. It was difficult to see how the drive quality was in this demo.

      Good points Jamie. I'll have to make something a little more in depth next time around.
