- the most important thing about stacking silver is that you start stacking silver. It doesn't matter when you start or how cheap you got your silver for. It doesn't matter how many ounces of silver you are able to stack. What matters is that you start stacking and ditch the failing dollar for real money IMO.

I collect cans and also collect scrap metal, Brass, Copper,Aluminum and Bronze. I sell that and buy Silver and Gold as a side hustle.
Good work, young grasshopper.😊
As a new stacker that has to save for weeks to afford a single ounce of silver from my LCS, I feel like a joke waiting in line behind the guy buying multiple ounces of gold and silver. Your opening was exactly what I needed to hear to keep me motivated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Look into junk silver you can always sell it and convert into the pure ounces later. But if you are concerned about the stability of the economy and apocalyptic scenarios then the junk silver is probably a better bet in the first place.
Dude, don't feel bad. "The longest journey begins with a single step."
never compare yourself to others, you saved hard for an ounce, you value those waaaay more than someone who bought a whole bunch.
I started small too, converting other folks's trash into cash, and then into silver.... very rewarding!!!
Keep it up and treat yourself to owning some real silver!!! 🙏🍀👍
Got lucky over the weekend, and got 10 2023 libs from hero bullion.
I hope you have already built a cash emergency fund. (Like insurance deductible amount) It's awful selling the metal in an emergency. And most common emergency is medical
I have been stacking to make sure no matter what happens there will be something left for my grandson. So if I spend $50,000 stacking metals and the price drops and he only gets 25,000 that’s 25,000 more than he would’ve gotten if I didn’t stack but let’s hope the 50 becomes 100.
Just bought my first silver bison round yesterday. I can see how this can be addictive
I have been buying silver weekly 4 over 25 yrs and I am not hooked yet.😅
Buffalo
@@winnhill3736 wow that’s a long time, I was in high school at that time. I think I’m going to switch to coins rather than rounds just because they are easier to verify and more widely accepted.
I picked up a good amount of silver and a little gold during this dip
That is wonderful news.
It's funny how you say that price doesn't matter, but to me, it totally matters. I'm obtaining it at a cheaper price and premium as of right now
Good way to save for a rainy day because you don't want to touch PM after you buy it. You just buy and hold. One day it will payoff big time!💰💥💰😉
The most important thing about stacking silver...
Is to stack silver.
Thank you so much.
I look for a double dip: if silver drops well and I'm tempted, I wait for another big drop. If it doesn't happen, I don't buy. My last two purchases were a year apart. Got that double dip a year ago, and the silver I bought (a LOT) appreciated in value $1800 while on the truck delivering it to me. This time (about a week ago) silver double dipped again. I jumped when it hit 20.98, because there was also a sale on ten ounce silver bars with 51% off the premium... so another big pile at $23 an ounce all in. I'm very comfortable buying at that price point.
Precious metals being a long term game teaches you patience. Patience is really lacking in most folks and it's a valuable lesson to learn. Thanks!
Stack Gold and Silver and visiting Harry's coin shop is a life-changing event.
New stacker here! Just purchased my first 10oz of Silver. Plan on purchasing around 10oz a week. I'm in it for the long haul. I will probably give it to my kids or grandchildren. Love your videos. Definitely my favorite silver related channel on YT.
Great story about getting into stacking! A lot if this is very relatable. I started in Jan 22 w 5 ASE. Got tied of my savings disappearing and not really anything to show for it. And it bothers me that almost anyone can access your Bank accounts thru Credit Cards, PayPal, other banks etc. If it isn't in your hands, do you really have it? I now keep cash on hand, too. Who knows what "tomorrow" will bring.
More silver was delivered at my door today😁💰
bought the dip exactly at the bottom last thursday, lucky punch 🙂
I Buy rain or shine
For more than 1 reason, precious metals are a long game. It makes sense to me for a person to figure out the percentage of their income that works for them and stick to it. Let spot price determine how much you get for your amount, don't set a target in mind and try to force it.
Smart advice
I know i didn't miss the bottom, for about 15 minutes a few days ago, if you get a sense it's about to bottom, it's a game of chance though. hero shipped out my order within a half hour!... ohh yeah! take that sd!
@@johnstuartmill1500 You see?, SD is just the biggest sponsor for these guys, but i ordered once from them, it took two weeks to send the order out, and when i called they had a nasty attitude, oh well, now i deal with Hero boullion and they are professional.
You certainly have come a long way. I can remember when you couldn't fully articulate the idea of converting currency back into real money or when you were pretty sure you were done buying Silver because it went above $21, and you weren't willing to buy beyond that point. You have definitely grown tremendously in your knowledge and understanding of the monetary metals. Congrats! It has been said that you get wealthy through hard honest work and you stay wealthy by holding Gold & Silver. Awesome video!
Excellent information here... Perfect for new stackers and a great refresher for me, Thanks! 👊😎
Typically every Saturday I buy some silver....and days during the week on eBay. Picked up 9 ounces today at my LCS. 4 of them were awesome toned 1976 rounds...2 of them say "Farming Americas bread and butter" and I have never seen these before...most probably were melted down in 1980 when silver went to $50. Cool thing is I got the 4 rounds at only $24.50 each!
Trading doomed paper money For real silver and gold money seems like a good deal at almost any price
Dragons dropping knowledge!!! Since I started stacking, I've been able to save far more than I would have if I didnt! Its been one of the best decisions I've ever made and I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I can save in the years to come. Thank you for sharing that humbling story with us brother! 🙏🇺🇲💪
Me too, pretty poor here but I put all I can get my hands on into it so it won't get spent. Even if the price drops I am far ahead.
@@valeriemckay7064 I hear you, I'm just an average Joe myself. What I've learned since I started stacking, every oz really does count! Never feel like you have to buy more than you actually can. We're already ahead of the game.. at least ahead of 95% of the people in this world. God bless and keep in the great work!
20 or 25 doesnt matter, but 15 does
If it weren't for you and Yankee, I probably wouldn't have started stacking. Thank you
You would have been better off.

Great advice throughout and spot on as a great way to save.
That little barrier gives pause to think and realize maybe you dont need to liquidate. Yup, I watch the price to learn, not to be anxious for its a long term thing for me.
Fantastic video. I experienced the same thing when I started in 2017. I bought some "Don't Tread on Me" rounds from Provident; when I got them in my hands, I was hooked. I think silver was around $17/Oz. then. No regrets.
Thanks for the video!
It’s been so awesome watching your journey!
Great video and very informative. Thanks for sharing.
Wuddaya mean "would have been" a good time to buy? The only thing stopping me from grabbing more than I did was lack of enough fiat in-hand. (grabbed a tube of Charlie-Brits 'cause LCS didn't have any generics in stock - place was practically stripped to the walls - and they were the cheapest at $22.17 each)
I just started really getting into the precious metals
I was raised by people that have never understood anything about money or investing or anything so I’ve had to learn everything over time myself and sadly I have multiple sclerosis so life isn’t getting easier praying i can get in on this low we are seeing i think we will see a huge increase in precious metals soon in the next collapse
Great video silver dragons …. Best precious metals content on earth!
Great video 💯 agree
Great 🎉 video Silverdragons 🎉

WHEN is this NEVER ending sd bullion giveaway going 2 happen? I believe they're fibbing to us
I know right!
January I believe
It'll happen the same time it happened last year; the end of the year
Very cool. Very inspiring.
Yes…..That’s what I do to stack silver….. ( I scrap metal… aluminum, copper, brass and light metal). I turn scrap metal into $20.00 bills then I buy silver 😁😁😁. I put some $$$ in the family fund and some $$ into my silver fund. > Wayne
Great video. And good point about the current relative low liquidity of precious metals keeping you from spending your wealth on frivolous things.
The saving aspect is what did it for me. Im sure a lot of other men too. I do however cash in parts of my silver & platinum stack every so often
I remember a friend told me the story of a mother and her son was taken prisoner and she had a good tooth and gave it to the guard
And freed her son .
I collected thousands of dollars worth of aluminum CANS. My friends Dad would take us to work at the military base. We got huge bags
Of crushed cans. And dirty magazines. Love your PASSION.
Funny how silver stackers say the price doesn't matter when it's going down, but at other times claim it is going to moon soon.
Why would price matter? No one half a brain cell should be buying gold and sliver to make money. It's a way to hold wealth outside the banking system as a insurance policy if people want to speculate and gamble to make money they should look at meme coins and Lotto tickets.
I loose interest when price goes up, I'm trading monopoly money for something real, and when the price comes down I start shopping, those pumpers have bags to dump, as soon as price goes up they start cashing out, than call it manipulation
@@UnknownUser-sc6jxalso I believe he's speaking of buying silver not waiting to sell when price goes up. And like the above comment states, it's about trading fiat currency (fake money) for something tangible that's actually worth something.
Bc FkThFd!
Price ALWAYS matters
Nail on the head, Good video SD
Gold and silver prices are also being controlled by the fed . In fact everything can be and is manipulated by wales .
Putting time in the market is better than timing the market
Hey Dragons great vid as always! Did everyone see the MONUMENT METALS STARTER PACK? Still going on FIVE 1oz Silver Buffalo's at Spot! Right now 5 for $105.00!!! Dollar cost average that ya'll! Ive bought from them before so you dont have to be a new customer! STACK ON EVERYONE!
where I can’t find it on the website
Nvm I got it 5 for 108.00 but with shipping it was 116
Yep I added 3 Eagles to make it over $199 for free shipping.
Thanks. Silver is nice😊
I dont mind if i didnt buy at the bottom. I do know before it absolutely spikes up im still getting a really good deal.
I have to constantly remind myself to dollar average the cost. It's OK to buy a nice 25/oz coin/bar that I "want" as long as I average it with a cheap 100 oz bar eventually. Started in January 2023 and going strong. Thank you SD!
where did you buy?
00:57 preach this more
This is one of my children's life insurance policies from me. One I control 100%
As long as fed is raising rates prices will drop. One more rate hike this year means wait to buy until December. I suspect another rate hike early 2024.
That's why I used to watch You. You were awesome man, that was a smartest stuff. And you know what I hustled like that? The same as you did, and you know what? I'm gonna the same spot you're out right now.
In Germany you'll have 25 cents on these bottles / cans :D
Wow ... Monument Metals is completely out of ASE singles and rolls. As a new stacker I've not ever seen that.
Or they pulled them because they loose to much money! Think about it if they bought those eagles when they were $30 or more.😊 cheers
@@LackTheSilverStacker ❤️❤️
@@LackTheSilverStacker well I think you might be correct. Silver price is back up almost a dollar and mysteriously, ASEs are back on the MM website. All in the scope of a weekend, so I doubt it had to do with a replenishing the stock on a Sunday.
@@OffGridandOutdoors Yea I've seen them mysteriously do the same thing.🤙
Let me start by saying love your videos so helpful and love your coin shop crew I wish I had that in my city
My question as a new stacker, do you mix years like in your Canadian maple monster box you were filling,
Do you mix years ? Does it matter what year coins you buy or stack? Should I just stack same year or does that not matter ?
Thank you 😅 for your videos
It's wealth. Regardless...weather ⬆️⬇️
I’m wondering if the war in Israel is going to play a factor when markets open
Pennies aren’t made out of silver last time I checked.
@@muskymike4488I’m slow. I don’t understand what you are saying.
I think the war in Ukraine plays a part. Russia holds a lot of gold. I don't believe the US will allow the price to go up too much until the war is concluded.

Only state I know of for the 10 cent can is Michigan is this where u are? I thought not?
What are your thoughts on pre-1933 gold coins graded MS 62 or higher for preserving wealth as well as silver and gold eagles.
Hi
How is it wealth preservation though if eventually you'll want to convert it back to fiat currency which the value of has been eroded by inflation which potentially means you're going to lose money if the price per ounce hasn't changed over time. Even if it did increase, it's probably only going to be of an equal value to what you paid for it originally after you take Inflation into account.
Hero bullion had 5 oz Libertad 4 150 gr8 deal there
Timing always matters. Price always matters.
“Silver and gold are real money “
-Later in the video
“You can’t take silver and gold to the store and exchange it for goods, you have to convert it to cash and then buy goods.”
Hmm 🤔
Both are true. Silver IS money. Most transactions are carried out in fiat.
@@RD27600 money by definition is payment for goods and services. Bitcoin is a better “money “ than gold and silver. Quite a few merchants accept it . Including APMEX to buy gold and silver . Let that sink in .
My wife grew up in a Communist country. The minute she found out she could buy gold and silver here in the US, she started stacking! The only thing she doesn't stack is Constitutional Silver. That's my job!
Here here 🍻
yup
Timing isn't important? My dad bought silver at $30/oz in 1982!
….BUT I wanna get rich like Bob Menendez!!!
The $ is dying and the politicians /grifters are taking their bribes in gold. Hahaha! Gotta love it!
I remember when you started this channel. And you were running around trying to get deals on 1 oz.
It’s really great stacking without kids 😏😜🤪
I spend my silver American eagles all the time at McDonald's... it has a $1 face value.
I don't like that people refer to Silver and gold as Money. It is not. It is a commodity that has real world uses and that is what makes it good as a store of wealth. Money is a virtual representation of value even when the us was on the gold and silver standard the coins were not worth what the actual contents were worth they were worth the face value, be that higher or lower.
The currency we have is toilet paper compared to silver
Your video perfectly describes the mentality of a stacker. Gold and silver are NOT investments. They are preservers of your wealth and will always have some value.
Suppose one day, the US government decides to confiscate all the gold and silver of US citizens, you can always exchange some amount of it to another person to get the amount of fiat currency at that time.
i did asked last time, no more videos like this, only videos in that coin shop please :)
Silver Dragon are you a fan of Platinum
Love this story of trash to 40 oz of Silver!
Dude you’re sponsored. How much weight does your message really hold?
I don't suppose they would be interested in my opinion?
i would have said tell no one
😊
Second 🥈
2:00-2:14 I disagree here, unless you're purchasing silver at spot you are indeed "Buying" silver, you're paying a premium to exchange your currency.
If you listen closer you’ll realize that long term stackers mitigate premiums by holding long enough. A lot of my stack was purchased at &18 to $20 years ago after paying spot plus dealer premium. Now that same part of my stack can be sold for a tidy profit. I’m not selling, I expect small rides over time to grow that margin, and mitigate any premiums I’m currently paying. If you buy today and sell tomorrow, expect to lose. You have to hold on. If you have no patience, you shouldn’t stack.
@@CemeteryShop-yg6gi The point is it's inaccurate for him to characterize it as a 1:1 conversion by suggesting you're not actually "Buying" it. The moment you make your purchase you are in the red, there is a cost to the exchange which should be considered when deciding what to do with your fiat.
OK. Perhaps we’re just mixing semantics here. I’d say buying is incorrect, but he actually did say that it’s more accurate to say we convert fiat into money. I would also contend that using worthless fiat to obtain real money is more of a scam rather than a transaction if you know what you did.
i dont understand what he means about the dip. everywhere i looked the buying prices never changed. if there was a dip the premiums made up the difference
Monument Metals, Hero Bullion my Faves!
You're not looking very hard if that's what you see. Prices are down from where they have been recently and that includes premiums
does it occur to you that not everyone is in the usa where shipping is reasonable and coinshops are everywhere. where i live your lucky if you can get coins for under $40 cad an ounce before shipping@@TheQuickSilver101

There is no way I'm going buy silver or gold. I have some but only because I bought the state quarters when they came out and they were the silver proofs for those years. But I don't believe it's a good investment. But somehow I subscribed and I like these videos. It's just interesting.
It's NOT a good investment. That's not the point.
Its just to protect. Thats it. But even smart investers have gold and silver as a fall back.
Life happens between your ears.
Very cryptic
@@LackTheSilverStacker
A saying I made up. It means we can all get trapped inside our individual perceptions of the World. Our perception is our reality.
three US dollars in 1903 was worth 3 dollars which could buy you 1 ounce of silver. In 2023 3 dollars could only but one tenth an ounce of silver. But if you had that same ounce you bought for 3 dollars in 1903, the silver ounce would be worth 30 dollars and the dollar value would have increased by 34 dollars x3 would be one hundred and two dollars. If the dollar has inflated that much then silver is under valued by 2/3's. One ounce of silver was valued at a dollar in the 1800's well before1903 and one ounce should have been equal to one dollar. So, the value of the U.S. dollar increased by 3,389% (adjusted for inflation) from 1903 to 2023. So, the price of silver increased by 900% from 1903 to 2023. The thing is you can't hold the dollar, you need to turn it into something tangible that increases in value without maintaining its noted value.
If it's up to me the price will continue to drop. I want it as low as possible. In the end we all know we're gonna look like economic geniuses when it does soar.
$19 American eagles ??? Noxara ?? Is this for real ?????
I have no idea what Noxara is but obviously it's not legitimate. You might find a sale on Eagles but you're not going to find them under spot
Bull! It does matter what price you buy at. If the us dollar collapses, the entire worlds does. Seventy percent of all the worlds reserves are in us dollars...
Ask yankee why he and tim dont support local coin show 1 mile from tims shop
You converted aluminum to silver.
Must have a young audience that has decades to reap the benefits from their stack, actually my research shows people over 55-60 are the new stackers with maybe a decade left.
Most important thing: Buy silver, then watch the prices get manipulated to lower prices, and lose money.
If you don’t sell, you don’t lose money.
