Making a compound clip solved this (I couldn't move the logo's location either but compound clip also solved this). 2) Is there a way to make the particles move slower? I don't mean the time it takes for the image to be dissolved away, but rather the speed the particles are moving once they've left the image. The velocity parameter seems to have no impact on this.
I had similar issue with resized images, and the workaround is making compound clips. Depending on the forces you apply to the particles, you may need to adjust the strength on the forces directly, the velocity is just for the basic directional force.

I downloaded the template, installed and applied. But my Controls >Reveal Image doesn't show the options I see in your sample. Actually in my case clicking Reveal Image doesn't change anything. There's no any Reverse Wipe options too. I use the latest DaVinci Studio version.

Thanks. After resizing your logo, convert it to a compound clip, and then you apply the the effect.

DaVinci Resolve needs more resource to run Fusion tools, you can try to decrease the particle number and see if that helps.
