Though it's been 6 years since we lost our son, I still find myself with an overwhelming need to have him close. Bringing out special ornaments or preparing his favorite appetizer gives us the chance to talk about him, share stories of times when we were our happiest. Prayers for all who walk this road to find a way to express their heart for their loved ones and find great peace. They aren't forgotten.

Thank You Dr. Wolfelt. Thank you for always thinking 'outside the box', helping us in the grief profession, and keeping that compassion and passionate spirit alive.

Oh, Kim! I am SO sorry! Your holiday is now doubly difficult. My father-in-law was shot to death on his 70th birthday, making birthdays forever painful thereafter. Our task is to embrace Christmas AND acknowledge how awful it is. What I do is to face the season EARLY; honor the person in a way that requires an action I CAN Do....and do the things that elicit sweetness, and indulge myself the ones I can stand, even if the tears pour down.

This is an accurate, and comforting explanation of grief for those who have suffered loss, and I wish everyone would read your literature; not only to in some way prepare themselves for loss, but also how to recognize when someone they know may be suffering in silence during the holidays and anytime. Thank you, much appreciated.

THANK YOU! I "Found You," when both my son/my 1st born & husband/my best friend, died within a short time of each other. You HELPED me then...and, as I watch/embrace what you Share on this video...You HELP me Now. I will share more later. Right Now I am experiencing one of those "Grief," Spurts...Mark/my son; Silas/my husband, each are saying..."DON'T FORGET ME!"

This guy didn't even bother responding to your heart wrenching comment. I am so sorry for the pain you went through. I too lost my baby brother and I know the pain of losing a young person you love so much. Sending you love.

My fiends and family don’t care! I am alone with my two kids. No one checked in, no one asked me how my weekend is going. No one gives a crap.
