I took the 4 Day Grief Companioning Course and loved it. I write about Becoming a Grief Companion in my book Grief Unleashed and credit Dr. Wolfelt throughout. His book Understanding your Grief was a game changer for me as a bereaved sister. It set me on a path to become grief and loss literate and now, as Certified Thanatologist and Grief Coach, to support and advocate for greater compassion for the bereaved and the broken-hearted. So grateful to you Dr. Wolfelt.

Thank you, thank you Dr. Wolfelt.
I had a visit with my doctor and he asked me about my husband who died. I expressed to him how he died in ICU.
When I received the after visit report he wrote how emotional and anxious, me the patient was. There was no mention that my husband died, and I was grieving. It was very hurtful.
