The third solution was very helpful, thank you. In my case this fixed the problem as soon as I realized I had a text box that was marked "Move with text." Once I cleared that text box and positioned it in a fixed position on page, this allowed the text to fill in the blank part of the page that would not fill in before. So removing the manual page break and then modifying the text box made it all work.

Thanks!!! Finally i managed to delete a section break, you helped a lot.
For the 3rd situation - "invisible statement had been selected", that is actually a section break line was selected after we press "Shift + < arrow", or "Shift + > arrow" (which i tried many times but unable to select it), then after press "delete", that section break line was removed and then we managed to delete a blank page.

This didn't work for me. My blank page is hidden and only shows in print or when I export to PDF. When I use shift and the left arrow key, it deletes the section break. But I need that next page section break so I can have two sets of numbered pages. How do I delete the hidden extra page while keeping the next page section break?

For people who have a problem with blank page after exporting to pdf.
I finally discovered that if you have mirror margins selected, it will assume you are trying to print in duplex and do this. I went to Page Setup - Margins - and under Multiple Pages changed it to "Normal" and the blank pages stopped being created when converting to pdf. Hope that helps!
