Updated!!! GOAT debate should be between MJ/Kobe & Kareem or Bill unfortunately for Kobe he is the MJ of 2000s but he is def the 2nd GOAT behind MJ followed by Kareem/Bill/Wilt. The social media of 2010s and the present help LeFlop existences like his superstars teammates and superteams. But, LeBron shouldn't even in the debate, the last 5 years, he was just chasing stats with his super teams. He has to join 3 different teams to win, in every 1st year of his new team he got beat up badly or missed the playoffs that in the 2nd year of his every teams, he has to trade most of if not eveyrone for new superstars ans veteran allstars of his sights like. His Lakers tenure isn't something to convince for GOAT debate, 1st y3ar missed playoffs, 2nd year hebhas to trad eevryone to get AD and guys he wants, AD won them that championship while Lebron cherry picking stats, 3rd got beat up and blamed eveyrone and this year, he supposed to be outbof the seaon as he suad he has injuries or whatever but when he sees Dlo/AD/Reavs and the co. winning games, Lebron suddebly hurried to comeback and healthy again to play, every wins he take all the credits for himself, every loses its AD/Dlo/Hams fault. 2013-14 he got beat uo badly by the Spurs but luckily for him, Allen saves them from gettunf beat up but 2014, spurs destroyed themm 2015, with all those trades they got beat up hy young and inexperienced warriors. 2016, he has to tradeagain including his coach and saved again by another teammates (oh his blocks) lebron is good for 2nd or 3rd help defende which include that blocks, hebia no good perimeter or 1 on1 defender, hebis good for 2nd or 3rd help defense. Anyway, that 2016 was a disaster for warriors but why the Lebronsexual fans goat has to be down 3-1???? Kyrie has to be the Batman while Lebron picking stats until Cavs cameback and Kyrie hit that game winning shots.
2018 cavs? That cavs was still stacked and better that the younger teams in East. 2019? Lebron was cherry picking and injured when Lakers wasn't making the playoffs.
Jesus, Lebronsexual fans will say, hebis goat cause he won 3 rings for 3 teams? What a stupid narrative, he won 3 rings from 3 different teams because he cant win a championship with 1 team in his 1st year and has to trade every assets they have to get superstas and to have superteam to win a ring. While MJ Kobe stayed onlynfor 1 team and win morenring with less years than Lebron. Lebron has to stat pad more for GOAT conversion. He messed up the Lakers offense in this years playoffs. Dlo/Shroeder/Beasley/Vanderbilt and AD became barely scored and has to lower theirbgames for Lebrons sake and to be able for Lebron to be rellevant in Lakers offense. Cause if you take out the ball from Lebrons hand, he is irrelevant. AD can score/Reaves and Dlo was doing good when Lebron was about to expire.
Jesus, we should do the debate between, MJ, Kobe, Kareem, Magic, Bird. Lebron fpr aure is a top 10 due to his stats and 20 years of playing, but GOAT? He isn't even in top 5 debate.
      LeFlop Lakers Tenure.
      2019 Missed Playoffs
2020 Bubble ring (AD to the rescue).
      2021 1st round exit.
      2022 Missed playoffs
      2023 WCF swept
2024 Swept in 1st round exit.
2025 Missed Playoffs, Blamed his 7th coaches and traded 5 players.

It’s disgusting how weak this sport becomes… Actually it’s so soft that we can see players actually not playing really defence and “trying” because they know the consequences… which all the better 3p shooters taking advantage nowdays.
I really can see this game in the next decade going to the only 3p route with how weak it’s becoming.

I will say this about LeBron- you have to be committed to staying in shape for 20+ years and not have a prolonged injury that takes you off the court like Kobe Achilles or MJ broken bone in his foot. With all of the wear and tear on his body, the games and the minutes he has played- that is phenomenal.

The fact there is a debate about MJ and LeBron is a testament to LeBron. I look at all the intangibles before I look at there stats. Yes Jordan has all these different accolades...but so does LeBron...so my intangibles start with LeBron didn't have his dad or brother to push him...he never played for a college hall of fame coach ...and third most important to me...he has had to deal with a loud mouth African American journalist who has criticized his eveery game since he came into the league. MJ never had to deal with social media...ever...now someone tell me MJ career would have been the same if social media was going on in the '90s...💯

Lebron literally lost 60% of the Finals he played in. Nothing about a 60% losing percentage says 🐐 Name another 🐐 in any sport who has lost more rings than he has won. You can’t and there’s a reason for that. He’s not the 🐐 never has been and never will be. A parachute that only opens up 40% of the time is a shitty parachute. The same can be said for a basketball player who only wins 40% of his championships that he’s played in. @@kannondeblasio718 I bring it up because LeBron said "that one right there made me the greatest player of all time".
As if beating the dubs in 2016 was done on his own (Of course LeBron was the best player on the team) But the fact that he beat them once out of four tries in a row?? 2015, 2017 and 2018 you get your ass handed to you, but cuz you squeezed by them once in 2016 after Draymond n Curry missed serious game time, Not to mention Kyrie averaged almost 28 PPG for the series, all of a sudden that makes you the GOAT?
It's not like he won 3 In a row, retired for 2 years, then came back and won another 3 in a row. After accomplishing something like that, anyone could say they're the greatest of all time And it wouldn't be such an egregious statement.
You guys like to use all these numbers like how he is the most total points, most total assists, and has all these longevity records... But he also has the most turnovers, the most playoff missed field goals, most finals losses in NBA history with 33, The most playoff losses with 100.
The 3rd most finals series defeats of all time with 6.
Worst collapse by a franchise player in a finals series-LeBron James 2011 NBA finals. Especially when considering how heavily favored the Heat were.
Worst meltdown in the last 60 seconds of a win or go home NBA finals game (game 6 of 2013 NBA finals vs Spurs)
5 possessions in the final minute. -First possession turnover
      -Second possession turnover
      -Third possession air ball 3
-4th possession rebound came back to him and sunk second 3 attempt
-5th possession with the game clock off, down by 3, bricks the tie or go home final shot attempt. (And then Bosch reach back for the board kicked it out to Allen and made the greatest shot in finals history)
So to sum it up, down only 1pt to San Antonio with 1 minute left LeBron had B2B turnovers, followed by an air ball triple attempt!
Forget the missing the final shot, those three plays alone land him in that spot for worst meltdown in the final minute of a elimination finals game by a franchise player.
I'm not even going to mention game one of the 2008 ECF game 1 vs Boston where he went 2-18FG with 10 turnovers.
Nothing like that EVER happened to MJ in a finals series, and MJ never had one bad series in his 37 playoff series appearances.
In fact he's 30-7 in the playoffs.
Jordan's worst playoff game was in the 89 ECSF GM2 vs the Knicks where he only put up 15 pts.
However for the series, he averaged 36.5/8.5/9.5 with 2.5 SPG. Scoring 40 PTS in 4 of the 6 games and taking out New York in 6.
So when the lights shined the brightest, no matter how great or terrible his teammates played, Jordan ALWAYS showed up, and never ever choked!
That's why LeBron can never be compared to 6 rings/6 finals MVPs, 10 scoring titles, 5 MVPs, 3 steals titles, 9 all NBA defensive first team honors, 11x leading the league in total points, all time regular season PPG leader and playoff PPG leader.
Oh yeah and defensive player of the year.

They have to push this narrative for young NBA viewers, it does the NBA and all these sports networks no good having MJ viewed as the goat. They have to market LBJ like this to keep the NBA product generating as many views and dollars as possible. The NBA model is based on individual stars unlike the NFL which is team based. Kobe pretty much done what MJ did today, he won 2 rings outside of shaq and average like 25 ppg, as he get doubled teamed and trapped a lot forcing to pass ball away. Durant and Butler today may be similar shooter like MJ, only 2 rings Durant.

Everyone has their own defenition of what the GOAT is but shouldn't it be who has averaged the big 3 stats in basketball? Points, assists and reblunds?
By that rationale Kareem is the GOAT

The reason we dont bring up Brady/Montana is cause Brady has 7. Cause there were huge arguments after Brady won his 5th, but after 6, people stopped. Now if he was stuck at 5, different story. 5 in 20 years or 4 in 13 years?

Believe it or not, some people still have Joe Montana ahead of Brady. And Bron I think your numbers are off. Joe Montana only won 4 super bowls.

the conversation will never end because a lot of the lebron fans has never watched MJ live and see his dominanve against the best players the game has ever seen....but followed the whole life of lebron and seeing him dominating the league for years in a weak 2000s era.... thats the reason
