Well I have watched all your ST1100 videos and got some great tips, as I have just bought a 98 model. I really wanted one with the original exhausts, and it took me some time to find a good one with the original exhausts. I really enjoy your content.
Hi Andrew, Thank you for your comment. I bought my bike for $1800 so I knew it needed some work. Did you do the Red Wire Bypass? My bike looked fine but I did it anyway. Lots of videos on this. Norman.
@@Chiplumb At times when other owners had it they left it set for long times. Then sold it .I did a ton of work to bring it back to be safe to ride. Some of the important things are the coolant system. I have a video on it. The ST 1100 red wire bypass. There are videos on you-tube about it. I set my valves and checked the timing belt. The book says to check the belt at 60,000 miles. mine is soft, no cracks looks great. Change the belt at 90,000 miles. Ride safe. Norman.
