I have both fragrances, but prefer Layton Exclusif. Glad to hear you beautiful women prefer the Exclusif.
Just smelled Layton again after smelling it a couple years ago and not being that impressed. Got a sample from Scentbird and sprayed it on myself. I was blown away. Completely different on skin than on the strip. And the drydown is incredible. That's really where it shines. Feel like Fragrance TH-camrs need to stop smelling these on the strips and judging the fragrance after 10 seconds. Have to put it on skin and smell it at 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 2 hours, and 4 hours.
Same. Layton smells terrible in the first 2 mins.
When I first put it on I smelled vaporub/cough syrup vibes. After the dry down....gorgeous

Bought Exclusif and absolutely love it it’s a beautiful beautiful masterpiece. So woody and deep and ambery with masculine menthol. Insane fragrance worth the price imo for a white collar gentleman.
I have had Layton for a while and just recently pickup Exclusif. The OG Layton performance is a little better, but I like them both! Great review! ❤
Agreed, agreed, agreed. I have both. Honestly Layton smells amazing on skin. Great presence. Pleases the crowd for sure. Perfect dailly scent especially if vanilla tones compliment your body. But Layton Exclusif smells like sex in a bottle. Straight up! Mature, sophisticated, and dark. Absolutely the best choice for a hot date. Leave no doubt in her mind what kind of man she is dealing with ;)

Exclusif is my first PdM and it's definitely one of those unique fragrances. Too bad I only got the smaller bottle since it's my first and I didn't want to go all in.

I love Layton. I like Layton Exclusif. I hate Pegasus. I’m OBSSESED WITH THE MASTERPIECE THAT IS PEGASUS EXCLUSIF. It’s my second favorite after Oujan. (Psssst: that menthol note in Layton’s opening is eucalyptus. It gives it lift off the skin)
To me Pegasus smelled just like Pegasus exclusif

I had layton before I sold it and currently own exclusif. I don't discern a big difference between the two. All I recall is that the original is a bit brighter and more youthful smelling. But still same fragrance mostly.
Exclusif has the base Layton DNA, but with Oud, cinnamon and earthy notes.
Bascially a unrefined, dirty Layton with the typical oud cowbarn smell.
Objectively, the exclusif is much, much worse. But more "nishe-like", which also makes it less pleasant and 9 out of 10 people getting into contact with you won't like it either

Layton is good, but too sweet and gourmand to me. I prefer fresh fragrances on my husband. I really love Sedley and Percival from this house as they are basically the only fresh offerings from PDM. I haven't smelled Layton Exclusive though it sounds interesting.
Greenley is another good fresh fragrance from them!
Layton Exclusive is defenitly not a freshy, The opening is fresh but after that it is woody, herbal, oudhy..

Layton exclusif may have the best 2-3 min opening in the history of fragrances in my humble opinion.
Layton is nice, but I agree with you its nothing amazing to me. Smelt it many times but just never drawn to buy it. Prefer Exclusif

Do you Like Fruity Scents?. I just picked up a Fragrance Called Manos De Fuego Macho Men it's Blue. It has a very Fruity Sensation smell to it both Clean and Fresh I highly recommend 😉
at last a lady with good taste ofc your friend too .... girls well usually like layton more i mean layton its ok its nice as you said ...but the exclusif omg its more manly more dark dry complex sexy alluring i gravitate wearing it more and more almost excessively to the point that i dont care for layton that much although lately i have lost my mind to Xerjoff Alexandria II the most luxurious that dry down is to dye for ... and i dont know why its not talked that much any more although it leaves all others far behind ....since we talking about ouds ofc oud for greatness oud wood and tabacco oud is amazing too
Oud for greatness vs Royal Oud
Royal Oud is my favorite winter fragrance, but, it doesn't have any oud in it other than the name. It's very sexy! You can wear it almost year round..
If it's oud your after, Oud for Greatness is hard to beat. It checks most of the boxes. Both fragrances are gorgeous.

Great video and I respect your viewpoint on both. Unfortunately, I don’t care for either of them. Layton smells almost identical to Angel from the early 2000s. Awfully sweet. Exclusiv is too dirty and harsh like a cigar. Personally, I prefer colognes from Clive Christian and Tom Ford.

almost all of the brand's fragrances have been reformulated. They have more alcohol than perfume concentration. Thus, HEROD has become a real cologne. he hardly feels anything anymore. The only thing left to do is buy the perfumes from dealers, hoping to get old bottles. Otherwise, to move away from this brand which no longer respects its customers. the most unfortunate thing is that influencers never highlight the negative points. They are only there to make you consume.
Bought the layton last week. The 82% and its fire. Give me around 10 hours and smells so good havent tried the 78% one but i can tell u that the reformulated version is not weak and it performance very good 👍
