It’s not underrated or unknown, it has been mentioned on many channels. Simply put, all creed scents besides Aventis can be labeled as underrated, due to the success of Aventis.
It becomes a skin scent pretty quick. Creed makes amazing scents but most of them aren’t attention seekers. If you’re looking for a beast I’d say Irish tweed is their strongest scent trail.

Royal Oud is best suited for formal occasions or professional settings. It gives off an impression of sophistication - think of a man in a tailored suit with a commanding presence. This is probably not appropriate for casual wear like t-shirt and shorts, or for romantic encounters even, as it exudes a sense of being above those things. Wearing this scent makes me feel powerful and confident, and I really enjoy it.
Its so nice to see, that you two completely missed the chance to smell one of the best Creed Fragrances, which is viking, because you judged it way too quickly. Its nice because now it continues to stay under the radar for most people. Let everyone buy there aventus and smell mainstream. Viking is for a real men who knows what he wants and is mature, takes responsibility etc. etc. After half a hour, but certainly after one hour it becomes one of the most pleasant and confident smelling perfumes I know. It is old school and it is more like a barbershop smell and has fougere vibes, but its done so good.

Unfortunately they did not like Royal Oud like a lot of fragrance reviewers, but it is still a good introduction to Oud fragrances for folks that are not into Oud fragrances or new to Oud.
Silver mountain water is amazing imo. at first sniff it it does smell fresh and nothing special but after a few minutes you realize how unique it is, probably one of the top cleanest, freshest perfume scents I ever smelled and it also has a bit of ink/metallic unique smell in the background which I personally really like and find really addicting in a weird way. great stuff.
Viking kind of smells like a niche version of Old Spice. I know you love to hate on it, but I’m telling you it’s SO much better when you smell the sillage off someone’s skin after it has dried down, and the cologne version is even better. My girlfriend loves both on me (I’m 35 and she’s 30 for context). There is a medicinal smell in the opening that is off-putting, which is probably what’s making you hate it so much, but that medicinal “nursing home” note goes away after a few minutes on skin and in the air you get this warm spicy masculine scent that smells mature, but not outdated. Also, 3 of my favorite creeds were not in here (EROLFA, original vetiver, and Millesime Imperial).

Fougeres don't always have that initial nice opening like sweet or citrus, Viking can be harsh especially first 10min AND they only smelled it on paper. Such a great fragrance as it dries down
Buy the original perfume that Creed is cloning, Mont Blanc Individuel and it will also save you money :)) Also surprised to see they don't love SMW, a lot of women actually want to wear it.
@@eauderica Yes, newer batch is reformulated because Creed is owned by BlackRock now. Also BlackRock pushes climate change policies on companies they own, so there are certain ingredients that Creed used to use for Aventus that gave it spark and longevity that they cannot use anymore.

Green Irish Tweed is not at all like Davidoff cool water. Davidoff cool water is an aquatic watery oceanic scent whereas GIT is a typical green scent with freshly cut grass vibe. Very refreshingly scent ❤❤❤❤

Aventus has been my most complimented fragrance. Everyone will compliment you when you walk past them. Silver mountain water caught my attention once I smelled it then after trying it again, it gave me a headache.
Definitely the best is Original Santal and Green Irish , Aventus is nice , but everybody smell like that, My top 3 is 1.Original Santal. 2.Green Irish 3. Island Virgin Water ( for summer time only. )
Original Santal has a lot in common with Joop Homme but more sophisticated. Bois de Portugal is one of my favourites along with aventus GIT and Royal Iud all purchased around 2017 in 4oz fkacons. Royal Oud is an exceptionally well balanced frag. Angelica pink pepper, creeds signature musk and a hefty dose of cedar wood. Very suave and sophisticated like BdP for a more distinguished gentleman in a formal setting. My GIT is nuclear with violet leave and ionone giving a fresh spring green soap accord again nuclear sillage and longevity. Enjoyed your gid
You girls are testing silver mountain water wrong. It needs to be tested on skin and you HAVE to wait for that dry down, at least 1.5 hours. It becomes very smooth, lightly creamy airy and magnificent and it just continues to get better thereafter. Never apply on clothes, just skin, and it will hit you. You will be wondering where that came from all of a sudden, trust me! Also you missed Original Vetiver, to me the second best Creed. Creamy, spicy soapy and luxurious(once again wait for the initial dry down, 20 min+). In order of preference, GIT, Original Vetiver, Original Santal, joint Aventus and SMW, and finally Millesime Imperial. Mind you, very little separating the last 4 after GIT and OV which are the stand outs in my view but all are in my top quartile of fragrances I own.
Her Erica, For some reason Aventus doesn’t work for me. It smells so good when sprayed on clothing but on my skin not so much. Green Irish Tweed on the other hand, is amazing on me. Aww man, that breaks my heart because I fell in love with the Silver Mountain Water - so refreshing. And the Virgin Island Water has this beautiful lime and coconut scent too. (Not a big fan of Green Irish Tweed - too mild and too medicinal for me. Smells more like something you buy at a pharmacy. 😂)
Viking is top notch!! Old school barbershop vibe. BDP is definitely an older gentleman’s scent. Be hard for young bucks to pull that off. This is the only review where they claim original Santal as the best. Any other review puts that @ the bottom. @ the end of the day, get what you enjoy. I have 6 different Creeds, & love em all.
Viking is a more classy version of the Old Spice Classic! I love that smell it is soo oriental and is the same smell of a sweet here in Greece called " Baklava" ! It is turkish too!
I absolutely love Green Irish Tweed, took me 4 months to pull the trigger, really great scent, lasts about 5 hours on my skin, not the greatest, but incomparable.

OMG I had the same reaction to trying Original Santal as well. I was surprised by it and really liked it. I went to Neiman a few months ago to pickup an online order and stopped to try a few fragrances. My experience at Neiman is the sales rep makes you start with Creed before you can move on to the fragrances you actually want to try. Both times, in different states, I told the rep I do not like Creed and want to try xyz instead. The sales rep proceeded to make me try several Creed frags before I could move on. The brand is totally sponsored in real life and store websites and pays the most in advertising / commissions. I tried several Creeds for the 2nd time and thought all crap again. Then I tried Original Santal and liked it and also Royal Oud. Original Santal is one of the least expensive while Royal Oud is super expensive and lasted less than 1 hour on my skin. When I got home, I researched Original Santal and found no real reviews on YT and nothing positive online. No one likes it. The performance issue of Royal Oud also confirmed. Not paying $450+ for that. I was very confused at this point. Today I was so happy to see both of your reactions to Original Santal. I am again thinking of buying my first Creed for cheap, $120ish but I hate Creed. I know Creed is copy of Mont Blanc but I do not want Mont Blanc in my collection either. Fragcomm problems. LOL.
Viking I found so dusty and dry... I will say though for Royal oud, it does open a bit like an ash tray, but when you spray it on skin, it does settle very smooth, ambery and resinous.

Original Santal is closest to a designer scent in the Creed line generic and sweet (mass appealing formula)..Royal oud and Viking can smell way different on skin..my Creeds are Aventus, Virgin Island Water and from time to time GIT.
So bois du Portugal is best on the dry down that jasmine in it opens up to become smoother so you would give it an extra point. That vintage smell is meant to be like that. The type of women you are say one thing but do another and all attractive women want men with money 💰 that fragrance is classic vintage money 💰 men with money average millionaire age in 50s
I think Original Vetiver is wonderful and quite unique. Classic and inoffensive, yet individual enough that it doesn’t smell like cheap shaving gel (like Chanel Platinum Egoiste) which is a no for any fragrance. Creed’s prices are just criminal though.
To tell the truth Every Creed fragrance is the best smelling in its category . The best are : Aventus EDP , Silver Mountain Water EDP , Royal Oud EDP , Irish Tweed EDP In that order .
Silver mountain water last a whole day for me. Lots of positive compliments. Don't be deterred by this.
For me it doesn't last more than 5-6h. And yes, before you ask, it's the original one purchased from their official store.

Aventus has been my most complimented fragrance. Everyone will compliment you when you walk past them. Silver mountain water caught my attention once I smelled it then after trying it again, it gave me a headache.

You should try Royal Water by Creed. Another one under the radar which is really good.
Original Santal has a lot in common with Joop Homme but more sophisticated. Bois de Portugal is one of my favourites along with aventus GIT and Royal Iud all purchased around 2017 in 4oz fkacons. Royal Oud is an exceptionally well balanced frag. Angelica pink pepper, creeds signature musk and a hefty dose of cedar wood. Very suave and sophisticated like BdP for a more distinguished gentleman in a formal setting. My GIT is nuclear with violet leave and ionone giving a fresh spring green soap accord again nuclear sillage and longevity. Enjoyed your gid
You girls are testing silver mountain water wrong. It needs to be tested on skin and you HAVE to wait for that dry down, at least 1.5 hours. It becomes very smooth, lightly creamy airy and magnificent and it just continues to get better thereafter. Never apply on clothes, just skin, and it will hit you. You will be wondering where that came from all of a sudden, trust me!
Also you missed Original Vetiver, to me the second best Creed. Creamy, spicy soapy and luxurious(once again wait for the initial dry down, 20 min+). In order of preference, GIT, Original Vetiver, Original Santal, joint Aventus and SMW, and finally Millesime Imperial. Mind you, very little separating the last 4 after GIT and OV which are the stand outs in my view but all are in my top quartile of fragrances I own.

For some reason Aventus doesn’t work for me. It smells so good when sprayed on clothing but on my skin not so much. Green Irish Tweed on the other hand, is amazing on me. I’ve gotten so many compliments 👌🏼

Try doing this with Nishane. The only one I haven’t loved so far is Fan Your Flames. Hacivat, Nefs, Ani, Sultan Vetiver, Pachuli Kozha all excellent.
Viking is one you have to wait for the drydown. Personally I think Aventus and Viking are best followed by Original santal and Millisque
Aww man, that breaks my heart because I fell in love with the Silver Mountain Water - so refreshing. And the Virgin Island Water has this beautiful lime and coconut scent too.
(Not a big fan of Green Irish Tweed - too mild and too medicinal for me. Smells more like something you buy at a pharmacy. 😂)

Viking is top notch!! Old school barbershop vibe. BDP is definitely an older gentleman’s scent. Be hard for young bucks to pull that off. This is the only review where they claim original Santal as the best. Any other review puts that @ the bottom. @ the end of the day, get what you enjoy. I have 6 different Creeds, & love em all.
Viking is a more classy version of the Old Spice Classic! I love that smell it is soo oriental and is the same smell of a sweet here in Greece called " Baklava" ! It is turkish too!

I absolutely love Green Irish Tweed, took me 4 months to pull the trigger, really great scent, lasts about 5 hours on my skin, not the greatest, but incomparable.
I ain’t gone lie if I spend $500 on a cologne that shit better perform like Dior elixir 😭

@@alyxms5826 its about skin chemistry. I got a 2021 batch of Green Irish Tweed and it lasts on me all day long, from morning to evening. Try it on yourself first.

If you'd tried a newer batch of Aventus I'd be surprised if you marked it anywhere near as high as you did for the 2016 batch..
Try to get a sample of F batch if you can
Since you liked the Original Santal, you should try Mont Blanc Individuel. It's the fragrance that Creed was "inspired" by.
Pierre Bourdon was the creator of the most Creeds, same for original sandal and individual! He is the genius perfumer!
Creed viking is amazing. In the air it's incredible. But putting your nose right up to it after spraying it can turn you off to it.

I think the best aventus fragrance is probably original santal honestly love that stuff. But millesime imperial is a close 2nd. And 3rd would probably be aventus or virgin island water. But so many good fragrances I love royal oud and himalaya too

Took me years to come around to Original Santal. I like it now, but for Creed sandalwoods, I prefer both Bois de Santal and Santal Imperial.
Showed up for the Creed, stayed for the cleve.
top scorers are Original Santal, Aventus and Green Irish Tweed. The flops are Viking and Silver Mountain Water.

Im 25 but i like really old school stuff and i just tried bois du Portugal, deffintly my favorite, i also tried viking cause everyone says it smells like old spice……its the first old school ish fragrance i hate! I have gone for 10 hours now wondering why…..hospital!! It smells of hospital! Its as u say, surprisingly medicinal! I mean… WHYYYY?! 😭😭😭
Original Santal is gone in about 2-3 hours. Its my bedtime smell.....Viking and Bois de Portugal are bangers. My favorite 2 creeds at the moment. But I'm 50 and rich so I guess that makes sense....
I stopped smelling any creed fragrances when I got tired of wearing aventus after 2 years of daily wear.. There are so many better smelling fragrances that appeal to my nose
OMG I had the same reaction to trying Original Santal as well. I was surprised by it and really liked it. I went to Neiman a few months ago to pickup an online order and stopped to try a few fragrances. My experience at Neiman is the sales rep makes you start with Creed before you can move on to the fragrances you actually want to try. Both times, in different states, I told the rep I do not like Creed and want to try xyz instead. The sales rep proceeded to make me try several Creed frags before I could move on. The brand is totally sponsored in real life and store websites and pays the most in advertising / commissions. I tried several Creeds for the 2nd time and thought all crap again. Then I tried Original Santal and liked it and also Royal Oud. Original Santal is one of the least expensive while Royal Oud is super expensive and lasted less than 1 hour on my skin. When I got home, I researched Original Santal and found no real reviews on YT and nothing positive online. No one likes it. The performance issue of Royal Oud also confirmed. Not paying $450+ for that. I was very confused at this point. Today I was so happy to see both of your reactions to Original Santal. I am again thinking of buying my first Creed for cheap, $120ish but I hate Creed. I know Creed is copy of Mont Blanc but I do not want Mont Blanc in my collection either. Fragcomm problems. LOL.

Viking I found so dusty and dry... I will say though for Royal oud, it does open a bit like an ash tray, but when you spray it on skin, it does settle very smooth, ambery and resinous.

I'm back here to tell you I bought the original Santal. It's really very nice. I love it 100%, also today I orderd the Bois Du Portugal and Erolfa. they say these two are also so beautiful, it can be everyone love these too.

Original santal is my go to fall and spring. second is taborome for me in the winter and virgin island in the summer.
Original Santal is closest to a designer scent in the Creed line generic and sweet (mass appealing formula)..Royal oud and Viking can smell way different on skin..my Creeds are Aventus, Virgin Island Water and from time to time GIT.

So bois du Portugal is best on the dry down that jasmine in it opens up to become smoother so you would give it an extra point. That vintage smell is meant to be like that. The type of women you are say one thing but do another and all attractive women want men with money 💰 that fragrance is classic vintage money 💰 men with money average millionaire age in 50s
I think Original Vetiver is wonderful and quite unique. Classic and inoffensive, yet individual enough that it doesn’t smell like cheap shaving gel (like Chanel Platinum Egoiste) which is a no for any fragrance. Creed’s prices are just criminal though.
