The closing piece of Wish You Were Here is highly underestimated. Rarely will you see people perform the last part of the Crazy Diamond suite. Though it is just as, if not more, beautiful as the first parts. Great sound quality, great performance. This video deserves more views!
Yep this is what does it for me. The slide guitar lifts one's ecstasy, the almost funky playfulness and the triumphant but sombre conclusion end the story of poor Sid.
Yeah it's very dreamy and evocative of the waste of talent the song is about. They've really nailed the atmosphere and I dare say this live performance might even be better than if the 4 original members were together and performing it.
