I remember being on a boat in the middle of my grandmother's lake at 3 in the morning; Full moon, clear sky, fog... and this song playing in the background. It's an image that always stuck in my mind because of how blissful it was. Either way its a good song, it's just not for everybody.

If you want disco metal/rock, the try Turisas - Rasputin. They did it after the frontman went on a drinking trip to Estonia, and the cover band in the bar played a terrible cover of Boney M's Rasputin. So they made it on a dare.
You should check out the live acoustic version where he plays the melody on a kazoo.
