@@2yoyoyo1Unplugged I have their whole catalogue and seen them live 3 times. What I'm getting at is not many reaction channels covered this song and this is the biggest channel to cover this. Some songs have to be considered deep cuts vs the singles that are well known by rock fans.
You hav to Check out the acoustic version of this they did in a store. Papa and 2 Ghouls (Alpha and Omega ). Papa 3 plays a Kazoo. It is so funny. Omega is the other guy who helped Papa start Ghost. Omega is Martin Persner use to be on Magna Carta Cartel with Tobias. Martin now is the singer and plays in Magna Carta Cartel. So great to see Ghost again.
@@metalguru85 It was GOLD lol. If you havent checked out MCC I suggest 2 songs. Try Turn and Sway. Martin (Omega) does a great job. I miss Omega's Stomp when he played in Ghost. That whole show in the store was great. Nice to see they can play acoustic live.
One of Ghost s most atmospheric songs. It definitely throws a lot of people off, during the change up in the middle. Ghost at their most Genesis sounding:-)
Happy Halloween dudes! I fell in love with this track from day 1. Such a juxtaposition between the slow beginning to the rocking end. The whole album of Infestissumam is fire. Year Zero, Idolatrine, Body & Blood, Monstrance Clock...all need to be checked out! Great reaction.
Awesome reaction. The first half of the song always reminds me of "Something" by The Beatles for some reason. And the second half just embraces the Scooby-Doosness with that surf rock vibe. Of course, you gotta react to the acoustic version. Pure gold. BTW, Ghuleh is a female Ghoul (a necrophage, demonic spirit; also, the band members are called nameless ghouls/ghoulettes)
Ghost have a theme to each of their albums. Opus Eponymous - The conception and birth of the anti-Christ Infestissumam - The rise of the anti-Christ Meliora - A world without God under the anti-Christ Prequelle - The Black Death Impera - The rise and fall of empires I can't remember the name of the interviewer, but in the days when Tobias was still hiding his identity said interviewer described how instead of making music about Satan, Ghost make music for Satan.
Lilith, in lore, was Adam's first wife who wouldn't obey and left The Garden of Eden. She was said to go and kill babies, prompting many to put wards or trinkets over their kid's beds to protect against her. Many have claimed she is Satan's wife, though she is never mentioned in The Bible. God Bless you guys. Have a safe weekend.
Wow! Garbage Pail Kids! Loved that when i was a kid! Haven't seen them in years. About the second part. It's Surf Rock 🤘. And i agree. You should see the acoustic version. You gonna freak out when Papa plays the Kazoo of Destiny!
I see some comments here saying what I am about to say: do you (and us) a favor and react to the live acoustic version of this song. You don't want to miss that and we want to see your faces.
Great reaction per usual. This one is the centerpiece of Ghost's second album IInfestissumam. That album was met with mixed reaction, as many expected the more dark, brutal riffs of the first album (which was produced to sound like a "found" artifact of the 70's). This was Ghost stretching out. They had some studio budget and were trying new things. For the next album - Meliora, they found the balance.
💙🤘🏼LILITH ✨🌌 A Middle Eastern goddess of abundance, fertility, and fecundity, the giver of agriculture to humans. The first woman created and the first wife of Adam, she refused to be subordinate to Adam in any way. Lilith is associated with the owl, a figure of darkness and deep wisdom, for she is also a goddess of death and transformation. She is sometimes represented as a demonic figure, for her dark wisdom and her sexual energy can be very threatening. She is known to appear as a frightening figure in dreams. Lilith is associated with the lotus, and the symbolism of that flower tells us much about her. The lotus, an exquisite flower that grows out of a dark, rank, decaying earth, represents spiritual unfolding and the blossoming of the heart of wisdom. Like the lotus, Lilith challenges us to look upon our Darkside and to incorporate it into our wholeness so that our great beauty can blossom forth. -Goddess Knowledge Cards- Beautiful song💚🌻✌
Please do Morbid Angel "Where the slime live" the live version. It's the one from 6 years ago, avoid the live version at Wacken because the audio is terrible on that one.
You gotta see the kazoo version of this
On Sirius XM. I fucking love it
Always love seeing a Ghost reaction. This has to be your first deep cut for Ghost.
Sad that any of their songs is considered a deep cut, but I get it; not everyone checks out a band’s whole catalogue

@@metalguru85check out “lost in Vegas” they are really good reacts and they hit a lot of ghost
Hugely underrated track. When that surf rock beat and DRENCHED guitar kicks in? Amazing

Papa playing the kazoo was hilarious in that video!

it was funny but it worked
Oh dudes, you're massively missing out if you don't see the acoustic version!
Ghost deserves a monthly reaction! :-D
They pretty much do a Ghost song every month 🤘
I should have said weekly!
One of Ghost s most atmospheric songs. It definitely throws a lot of people off, during the change up in the middle. Ghost at their most Genesis sounding:-)
glad you guys are digging ghost, you need to keep diving into their stuff!!
Hands down, without a doubt, my favorite Ghost song. The second part of the song gives me those old surfer rock vibes.
Next for Ghost: Secular Haze, Monstrance Clock, From the Pinnacle to the Pit, Mummy Dust, Zenith, Faith, Kaisarion, and Twenties.
Zenith definitely!

I would say Infestisummam as an album is the hardest to grasp, but when you get it it’s probably the best one.
Wearing my Ghost shirt as I’m watching this. One of my favorite bands. React to more Ghost. Their last album was so good.
Ghost is amazing and you guys' reactions are giving me life!
There is a video of a unplugged version of this song which is legendary among Ghost fans

The first half of this song always gave me early Peter Gabriel vibes. Love it.
Great reaction guys i Dont know Much of ghost but this song was realy good 🤟

Ghost - spillways
Look Here!!! Love Yall's reactions to Ghost!! Please do more!! There's soooo much more!!
Every reactor channel: Okay, I think I know what the Ghost sound is.
Ghost: No you don't.
This song just needs 1970 era Bill Ward on drums to put it to the top
Diggin the mushroom shirt Hollywood!🤓
Ghost makes me happy!!! 🖤👻
Should definitely do griftwood or watcher in the sky.
One of my favorite ones
Been waiting for this one! Love the channel
Please do Griftwood by Ghost, it’s off their new album!!!
Please check put the acoustic performance of this song and BEHOLD THE KAZOO OF DESTINY!!!!

Would looooove to hear you guy's reaction to Faith from the Prequelle album. Same album that had dance macabre on it
This song kinda remind me another band you should definitely do for Halloween, The Horrors
Morning guys! I like the instrumentals in this song and how it picks up near the end. Interesting lyrics too. 🤓
Morning. Btw for the ICP song we did yesterday.
Queens of the Stone Age is criminally underrepresented on this channel.
I'll be honest, in the beginning I didn't like Ghost at all, but the more I got involved with them, I became a big fan of what they do. 😍🦇🦇🤘
Leave it to Ghost to make a rocking surf rock song😆
🤯 you can't judge a book by its cover can you!!?? 🤔🔥
Great reaction. Great band
I almost gave up on the song with the beginning portion. They redeem themselves on the second half. Very Johnny Marr-ish sounding guitar was nice!
Ghost one of my favorite band
Check out Neurotech song Cyberwaltz, please! Thanks for all the Ghost!
Always felt like a Dick Dale surf guitar number
It reminded me of the MUNSTERS
Miracles happen. I got all the Halloween trivia questions right and Smokey didn’t??? 😳
Parts reminded me of the original bat man theme song in parts
Okay, now you got to play Monster Mash!!! Don't tease me! 🤣🎃👻
I LOVE Ghost, but I struggle to find a groove with this song. It leaves me feeling agitated instead getting lost in the song.
Lilith was Adam's first "wife".
Good pick for Halloween!
Where's @Big Homie Steve The Metal Head at on this subject?! Hope you see this brother and finds you well! 🤘🏼💙🤘🏼
Is this part of a musical about a zombie queen?

This is sort of a remake of a clasical song
