I see Le Creuset on QVC, and I guess it's super high quality, it is super expensive! That Han Solo one was crazy!! I had never heard of Showbiz Babies, those were so cool...I actually had a Mamas & the Papas cassette (long after they broke up LOL). If I find one of those "Walk with Wick" books, I'm totally sending it to you! I've heard Suzanne A. Wells talk about Baby Morgan, those have had value for a long time, and, by the way, I do sell a lot of baby blankets and socks, believe it or not! Ok, my mind is officially blown for the day! I've been doing this for a few years now and as much as I try to know what people are buying, I never cease to be amazed at what SOME things can sell for! Like your Cajun viewer mentioned, down here in the deep south, we LOVE our Magnalite, so I knew about those. I also knew about the GlassyBaby candle holders- I don't really get the appeal and I've never found one- maybe one day. Now, the Baby Morgan blakets and the bars of SOAP were new ones for me! If there weren't items with multiple bids and you hadn't shown one of your own comps, I would have said those HAVE to be BS! Un-feaking-believable!!! I'm calling my mom and my aunt to see if they have any old bars of soap in the back if their cabinets (they never throw anything away😂). If they DO and they sell for big money, you're going to have a gift from me in your shiny new PO Box! Thank you SO MUCH for your content! I recently bought cool looking plate at a thrift store for 75 percent off so I paid only 2 dollars...turns out it's a circa 1800s oyster plate and it sold on ebay for 540 in the first day lol crazzzy
Being from Seattle we and friends have many Glassy Babies. Also, my son as a baby has a blanket with satin trim. He sucked his thumb and would rub the satin on his nose. We had to replace that satin a couple times. That was in the 70’s.
Children carry baby blankets and have them as keepsakes. My brother had one my mom gave him the remnant when he was married. Having the same one as you had as a child is nostalgic.
I had a maglite 5 quart pot & lid that has been sitting in my death pile on shelf for a few years. It would have been sitting for another couple of years if I hadn't seen your video. Thanks Wick.
Deodorant bars mean they are highly scented. I sold Irish Spring recently and I couldn't wait to get it out of the house because of the smell! Learned alot. Thanks for sharing!

I just want to say….for the more casual seller who just does not want to deal with eBay….I’ve had pretty good results selling hard goods, toys, etc on platforms that are considered more fashion oriented. I’m guessing there are buyers who grudge against eBay as well. Definitely, not the traffic you get on eBay, but if your item is desirable enough, you will get a similar price for it elsewhere.

i found glassy babies in goodwill in san luis az one then I rolled away and went back and the shelf stocker had just put out another,, mind you I read goodwill was taking them off the shelves

I learned about glassy baby after finding 4 at my thrift store when I first started looking for glass I laughed at the name on the bottom glassy baby in bubble letters they wanted 6.96 a piece they were really nice I was instantly drawn to them I didn’t have my phone on me and the name sounded generic so I left them because of the price… I had no idea they were worth so much till i was watching the crazy lamp lady on TH-cam one day and now I forever regret it lol..I have yet to find any ever since but I look for glassy baby and fire and light glass is pretty interesting to look into

I don't have the patience to look at the bottom of every damn candle holder that looks similar so I gave up
Curious if you use spreadsheets to track what you paid, what it sold for, fees, etc?? Do you think that's something that is necessary??
It's good to keep records of what you paid for things etc. eBay keeps track of fees and a lot of info you can download at the end of the year.
