Your goodwills are always stocked and organized lol, but I’ve noticed it depends on the area too. The one down my street is semi organized but it’s never stocked and neat looking.
here we gave a couple of retail stores that go buy up all the clearance at lowes and menards and walmart and then resale it at jacked up prices. I swear someone is hiding it for them at the stores too. we were using brickseek to find stuff and it said the items were there but they werent. But they were. lol
Did you check out the Berol Giant pencil sharpener in the original box? Not the fastest sellers. But in excellent condition with original box, yes please.
Yeah, if I remember right it wasn't in good condition and based on comps just decided to pass. or maybe it was priced a bit too high, but I remember looking it up.
I'm thinking of selling some things I have acquired over the years. I don't know what all I need to do. Where do I check for comps. That's my biggest question. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Have a great day.
The best way is to filter your eBay searches by sold and completed. This will show you what items have actually sold for. You can see how many have sold in the last 90 days and how many are currently listed. This can give you a good idea if something will sell, how long it will take to sell, and how much to list it for.
Can you post a video someday on removing the goodwill price tags without damaging the product underneath? I’d like to see your technique. Great videos always looking forward to seeing them.
I have a video I think. I've also shown in other videos before, but I just use a hair dryer, scotty peeler, and then use goo gone to remove the sticky residue.
At the mega thrift store near me, in addition to the tag, they write the price on the item with a permanent marker. I try to remove the ink with alcohol, sometimes it works, other times it makes it worse.
I wet my index finger and place my finger on the tag to moisten it. After it sits for about five minutes I peel it off with my fingernail and clean it with water and a dish rag. Works almost every time.
Wick, could you please do a Q&A someday and drop some knowledge on our asses? In all the spare time you have? 😆 Thank you SO much for your videos--because of you, I've started dabbling in some retail arbitrage. So fun!!
Did you say Ultra Pro is a random company? They have been around almost as long as Mattel, 1945 vs 1952. They are the ones who make card sleeves, pages, board games etc.
I am yet to see a First Act guitar in a thrift store, but I’m always looking.
So happy you said you were nervous to look up those inks. I get that way too. Happy I’m not alone.
That Fallout Monopoly at 10:25 is sweet! I’ve been using your channel to learn eBay selling. Love the vids!
I need to hit your Goodwills.
Nothing of value ever makes it to the shelves at 3-4 stores near me.
I feel your pain
Enjoy the way you tell how you sourced & what you will have to do. Like the notes about what you had to do to well items. Very interesting. Thanks.

Lighter fluid and a make-up removal pad.

Do you sell used opened puzzles?
Only if they are special
Do you take off those price tags before you take the pics you're going to use on eBay?
Yes
Do you sell the nuwaves whole for the most part?
I prefer to sell them whole if they are a good model
Are you from NC
Ohio

@@FlippingJunk The Snorta game. It was made by Ultra-Pro @4:50, some "random company" lol.
