Aye.... E.G. is 15 minutes from me. When in Wimauma again - definitely hit up Taqueria El Sol. They make the best tacos I've ever eaten. Indeed Cockroach Bay makes for some nice fishing! Also, Apollo Beach preserve is (well.. was) a nice little hidden gem for beach going and shore fishing.
My 1-ton ram we'll get 23 miles to the gallon with your entire rig on my trailer 😜 at 70 miles an hour. But 20,000 pounds on the trailer and it drops to 14 to 16. That Park is a great place to fish been many years since I was there. 👍👍👍
Digging the new set up! Just got back from Ginnie myself, such an awesome place. If you’re paddling make sure to hit up Lilly springs up river a few miles.
Nice truck Kevin, that Raccoon was a stinker, I would have named him Rocket and taught him how to build random shit, LOL. I like the way you pulled up your kayak simple and easy, sweet mileage bud, my 2007 Ford Expedition EL 4x4 just pulled 20.2mpg today on the way back from the ranch, I think it would have been higher if I was half sasquatch. Looks like Florida and southern Colorado is having the same weather too, thunderstorms and hail are the norm this year.
Haha, I'll call him rocket next time. 20mpg is outstanding for an expedition. We've had some bad storms the last couple days. We even lost power a few times.
Love your channel! I’m a Florida camper as well, living in the Tampa area. Thanks a bunch for your thorough reviews of the campgrounds and all your gear. I looked at the runaways but have decided on a casita that I’ll be getting this fall / winter. You guys have inspired me to go ahead and get a kayak in the meantime. In the last month I’ve done Ginnie and blue spring sp, and am headed to desoto this weekend. This place looks worth checking out too. Of all of the campgrounds in Florida what’s your favorite?
Thanks for watching! A casita is really nice!! Hillsborough River State park is pretty nice. There's many activities to do there and it's rather large compared to some parks. Highland Hammock state park has some nice walking trails and board walks. But there's no river to paddle on.
Keep the 13! My truck has a corolla engine and is a bit under powered. That's why it has a 6spd transmission. But the alternative is great MPG commuting.
Overland Florida Good stuff! I got to go off road for the first time today at Citrus Wildlife management.. I had a great time. Looking forward to meeting you one day.
Wow funny to watch your channel and see the place I grew up in lol. Keep videos coming
Thanks!
My uncle's and aunts grew up and lived in Bradley Junction and the surrounding areas Willow Oak, Mulberry etc. They were minors too.

23mpg!!!! That's awesome. My '13 doesn't get that kind of mileage... I need to start saving now I guess. Bring the hammock to RockaDock ;)

This park looks amazing! Do you think it’s difficult to get a spot in April to camp in an RV?
You should be able to get a site. The park is called "E.G Simmons" When the sun goes down the bugs are horrible.
new truck? congrats!
Yes sir! Got tired of the 4door jeep life.

That's a great place. Hopefully you avoided the deep holes! We'll have to go out exploring sometime.
Did you go to the caves?
Overland Florida didnt make it to the caves. I hit some deep stuff. Ripped one of my side steps off.
Oh no!!! I'll go to the caves then. I still have to take Nicole.
What is the rack system you have for your truck?
Nevermind, I see it is a Brute Force bed cage. Great set up!
