i got the same style rooftoptent. its easy up, but closing down by yourself is an PITA. In order to prevent rain from coming in, the tent should be fully tucked in. this is almost impossible with 1 person.
iKamper was probably the best. The factory this tent is made in is good snd you can’t beat it for the money. I would buy this over my ikamper. $1000 vs. $4000.
Nah, they are all made in China, but they are from different Chinese manufacturers that also do oem to foreign markets... FSR tents from the US are actually the Chinese WildLand tents re branded... Inspired Overland is actually the Chinese OffGrid tents re branded... Etc etc (I am in China, have a inspired overland carbon fibre RTT, bought it direct from the OEM OffGrid but for less than half the price of the US/Aus price)

What do think about using it on a wk Grand Cherokee v8. Towing package 2005-2010 nodel.
