I own a cleaning company and ammonia is my go to. The hack she showed with the mattress apply it to your carpet stains. Does better then any spot lifter on the market. Word of caution its an alkaline on the ph scale so you must neutralize it. Real simple to do. Spot treat carpets with ammonia agitate and blot out stains. Then run your rug Dr. or whatever you have with Odor bans carpet cleaner it will neutralize it and remove odors and clean at the same time. Awesome video!!!!
It’s amazing how many have no clue on how to clean and what to use.. I’ve always used ammonia! And other household cleaning items.. like sos pads are a handy hack too
I put my stovetop ceramic grates in a garbage bag with a splash of ammonia. I tie it up and leave outside overnight. The next morning I wash them and there is no scrubbing needed.
Put some baking soda on the stain, add some peroxide to a bit of liquid detergent and a drop of dawn Scrub the baking soda with the solution and rinse with a damp cloth
Everyone says this and I watched a lot of videos that said it would remove a blood stain on my mattress. Now I have a blood stain and a big yellow circle around it. I must have done something wrong I guess. I wish it had worked because my asthma doesn't like these harsh chemicals.
Best way to remove blood stains is with regular salt (sodium chloride). You can use sea salt. Make a very dilute solution. A tablespoonful in a large bowlful of warm water, never hot. Hot water will fix the stain and then you won't be able to remove it. If the salt solution is too concentrated, it will fix the stain and then you won't be able to remove it. The trick is to keep it very very dilute, a very weak solution, probably 0.9% (saline) or lower, and warm/tepid or even cold water. Soak your blood-stained pillow or whatever it is and it should come off with a bit of agitation without using any harsh chemicals. If the stain gets fixed, it means you used too much salt or the water was too hot or both.
According to The Clean Club who is a professional dry cleaner the salt makes no difference at all. Hydrogen peroxide should be the go-to stain remover for blood, and try to have at least 6% version but really high as possible for baked in dry blood. For blood that hasn’t set properly 3% is an adequate and tends to remove it instantly .
Sounds like unless you have a PhD Majoring in Salt, then it’s quite possible, most of us, will be working against ourselves. In turn- sealing it Permanently 🥴
@@caseybrogan8842 That's why I've posted the tip. The worst that can happen if you try it is it won't work for you, but I doubt that if done correctly.
Unlike in Europe, the USA doesn't require much information on such products. I have 3 jugs from 3 brands, and none of them reveals what the concentration is. Whatever it is, it will decrease over the years. Our vinegar used to be 9% and now is 5%. That's capitalism.
I used almonnia to do a cleaning and now my eyes 👁️👁️ are burning 🔥🔥. My chest is in pain. How and what is the rite correct way to use ammonia please 🙏 help
Same, Im watching all of these videos thinking if I have a different type of ammonia or something?? Everyone uses it so nonchalantly but the fumes cause me respiratory problems right as I add it to my laundry 😅😅

I buy and use ammonia, especially in the bathroom and laundry 😊 awesome
I wondered what I was doing wrong. Thank you very much.
Ammonia and bleach is a great combo for cleaning

Peroxide would have done that instantly and taking the sweat out as well.

@@Kittykatt96there are different percentages of hydrogen peroxide.
@@Kittykatt96did you dilute the peroxide?
Very helpful, thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe Hi
Great tips thanks !
Can you wash walls with this
You could have done that with salt and cold water. That's what they did back in 1800s for women's rags.
Salt doesn’t help. The Clean Club showed this. Just use hydrogen peroxide. Harder when it’s a set stain and you need more steps
The pandemonium made me laugh 😂 I thought you were being serious at first and I was so concerned 😂
Haha. Thanks for laughing at my corney jokes🤣
Thank you
Yay 1st to comment 🥰🥰🥰 does the papertowel method at the end help with not having to ventilate?
The smell is very strong. I always recommend ventilation, even a fan helps. Once you cover it with plastic wrap, the smell does improve.

handy thanks!
Lay aluminium foil on bottom of oven to catch grease, been doing in for 30 years
I read some where aluminium foil causes infertility 😮
Will ammonia eat dye out of fabric like bleach does?
It shouldn't. I've used it on my work shirts to try and get stuff off.
Could you use it on stainless steal. I'm having a hard time cleaning the grease splatter that's on my microwave.
You're the best
How strong is it ? % i live in Sweden

To do a cleaning
Dilute with lots of water
Don't stand over bowl you're putting it in
This stuff is dangerous if inhailed
Hope you are okay
Isn’t vinegar just as effective? It’s non toxic.
Amonia is just too toxic and smelly for me.
Same, Im watching all of these videos thinking if I have a different type of ammonia or something?? Everyone uses it so nonchalantly but the fumes cause me respiratory problems right as I add it to my laundry 😅😅
no need to use amonia on blood. Ice cold water is the absolute best and easiest way to remove dried blood.
I gotta get me some ammonia +_+
I put ammonia in my windex or white vinegar.
Isn’t this toxic to breathing in???
Yes. She said to use goggles, a mask and gloves.
@@deborahgeorge3238 Mask wont work fully, you will end up Breathing some in. You need world war 2 mask
