- A remake of the Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo intro made in Adobe Animate CC and After Effects.
One of the game intros that marked my life when I saw it for the first time. I'm glad I can recreate it my way. :)
Great video. Even though we didn’t get Cammy licking her lips like in the original.
For me, it never made any sense for Cammy to act like that in the opening

Great animation! Great creative choices too, such as having Cammy chuckle instead of do that weird tongue thing. Also the Akuma glimmering eye was a nice touch. The Hadouken animation is especially great. Exactly how I imagine it should look.
I forgot that Akuma was in the same intro that Chun Li and Cammy were in. Looking back through the intros, I saw they were in the same intro.
Cammy was sticking her tongue out at Chun Li as Chun Li gives her the side eye, and Cammy is the new girl.
I liked the flashing ey of akuma and the red Background. Nice Timing. Also the colored shadow or glow around the characters. Good work.

I think I have figured out why the retro pixel art, looks better than modern games with high quality sprites just like this animation. The squared nature of the low pixel count, makes averything have the same ratio and proportions. Making the artwork look more "unified" while hight quality sprites with high quality backgrounds just look like a mishmash of different art styles. That is probably why "retro style" graphics are really popular for indie 2Dgames. High quality just look like a flash game from the 2000s. Even classics like Braid have that weird look.
In fact, in our minds the "best" art style is the one we interact with first. There is no art style better than the other. We learn to like what we see first. And you got it right. I animated this intro in Flash. ;)

I am now just seeing this. I love the animation, but, can you upload a version with the PC CD-ROM version of the music? I think it is far superior.
I didn't know this version. the quality of the instruments is really better. but I didn't really like the mix with the sound effects. they were a little high. but a beautiful version.

These are minor critiques...but I am not gonna count them as those...Because the overall video was good...It Just had a few things changed,One where Cammy starts with her eyes closed in this version,Where in the real version her eyes started opened...and she blinks her eyes.The other minor difference...is were it lacks the part when she sticks out her tongue...Chun-Li was pretty much on point,but the minor difference in her animation is where she is looking straight ahead,and then looks towards the screen,were in the real version,she is always looking towards the screen...But like said...very minor difference,so I am not gonna critique that one really that much either...I think lastly,I am not quite sure about this one really...but I am gonna say that I think not sure really...but I think Ryu shoots his Hadoken fireball slightly late...but like said for all of these,I am gonna for this little critique...that it is a small minor difference,so like I said for the other ones...I will not count it as a big critique.These are all very minor for the worst.My rating for this Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo intro remake,the score from 1 to 10...easily a full 10 stars...from 1 to 100...easily a full 100 stars to me,as an local artist myself,from artist to artist keep up the VERY !!! good work...I am not sure how old you are,but keep these art animations coming Kjabuti...

Some of the things you pointed out in the reviews, I really changed. like Cammy's tongue. I thought that part was unnecessary. other things I must have let pssar for lack of attention. I'm 38. I should do more like this as soon as I have free time from my work. :)

Check your reference bro. An admirable try but the shape and silhouette needs to match the original characters or it won't have the same level of gravity to the intro.
