Micky was playing at The O2 Arena in Greenwich, East London (AKA The Millennium Dome). The Pink Floyd show you watched was recorded at The Earl's Court Arena in Central London. That has since been demolished. I saw The Floyd at Earl's Court five times but I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Micky Flannigan live. Going to have to sort that one out the next time he tours. Loved the reference to the "Plasterers Radio" but we used to know it as "The Painters Radio". Same thing though. Although Micky gave me a right good belly laugh here, it was nothing compared to how much I laughed at Jess's reaction. Obviously had a sheltered upbringing!

You've got the process backwards though. It's not common because young kids are learning, young kids are learning and want to know because it so common, easily accessible, and normalised in many unhealthy ways. And I am one of the people who supports education on the subject starting at a youngish age. But how you would introduce the concepts, slowly progress over the years, and support with being honest to questions they have is very different to what is happening as a result of widespread normalisation of porn and easy access.
@@wyterabitt2149 I went to a Catholic school, aged 4-11, they all had older siblings, the older ones told the younger ones what myths and truths they’d been told, and so it went on. I remember thinking “Ewwwww, there’s no way! That’s disgusting”
I am a 43 old swedish guy and i knew about things alot worse than the hawk tua when i was 14 and it was normal. The ones that did not knew about those things back then were those who later in life turned out to be sex maniacs, not all of them but the majority. Tell a kid not to do something makes it more interesting for them to try it out.
I was a teenager in the late 60s, my father was a serving member of the army and was seldom at home ( I should say at this point I live in the UK), now sex was never a taboo subject in our home, mum and dad were what you might call " progressive" and never hid the differences between male and female, and spoke openly around us kids, now did this effect us, no we grew up just like any other kids on the street, played football, Tag, hid and seek, all the usual kids games, now at the age of 13, and showing signs of admiring the girls, Dad was away on deployment, and mum cottoned on to the fact I was giving a certain girl a lot of attention, well one evening after my siblings were tucked up in bed, mum called me to the dinner table, where she had a pack of playing cards, she had removed the King, Queen and Jack of hearts and they laid face up on the table, then she went into her version of the "birds n bees" and I had to sit through this cringing at how she was trying to explain how babies were made, I am not sure who was the most embarrassed myself or her, I had to put my poor mum out of her misery and tell her straight out that I knew a boy had to insert his cock into the girls vagina, and wiggle it around and eventually fluid would spurt out and that was what made babies mum, Well I was never sent to my room so quickly before that night, and the next morning she pulled me aside and said " you mustn't tell you younger brothers what we talked about last night" lolI was 14 when I got my first kiss, and 21 before a saw a naked woman outside of a magazine lol

talking from a UK perspective he is not wrong. back in my day young boys when starting to become sexual at best had censored magazines, nowadays they can access the internet and watch stuff far in advance of what they should be learning about and it can distort their minds into thinking is normal
Honestly, I think this puritanical stuff is all a bit bullshit, it seems very Victorian and prudish. Every generation thinks this, kids will always look at stuff that's forbidden and frowned upon, but they all grow up and the human race keeps on going, we all keep on having kids, so clearly we're still doing something right. Kids today are much brighter than previous generations, I highly doubt growing up with a bit of porn is going to stop them realising that the stick goes into the hole is it. It's just people who now have kids taking the moral high ground because they didn't get to enjoy the shit teenagers do now. I'm sure adults were tutting and shaking their heads at people who bought porn video tapes from the back of an ice cream van or that one factory worker Micky mentions.
Sex is normal and natural and should definitely be talked about. The fact that porn is so accessible now is even more reason to talk about normal and healthy sex and relationships, to counter all the extreme stuff out there
Hey guys! Love watching your videos, always good fun. Ricky of course also being a very funny guy. Seeing Jesse's reaction to some of the things Micky was saying had me laughing, ahhahaha! 😂😂 I have to agree, sex has become way too open these days but I guess I'm somewhat old school when it comes to these things. There is a difference between talking about it with those that it's OK to do so than it is for it to be everywhere and even women doing such things as OF'S. People show off their body to everyone these days when I feel that kind of thing should only be shared between you and your partner. In that way, it's something special between the two of you. When people are showing off their body to anyone and everyone ( On specific websites) then it takes something special away from your and your partners relationship. Why anyone wants to show their bodies off us beyond me. The only reason I can see is for attention but in that case, even more reason you should only do so with your partner as they are the ones you should be giving and receiving that kind of attention from and giving it too. Here in the UK, or at least as far as I know as things might have changed, they do have sex education in school. Personally, I think that's something parents should teach their child and the importance of such things as condoms for protection and not just to avoid an unwanted pregnancy. The trouble with schools teaching children that stuff these days is there is a lot of the woke ideology that can be injected into the conversation. In my personal opinion, I don't think that's a good thing as they would be teaching my children, if i had any, things that I may not personally agree with or I feel is wrong. Anyway, I've gone on way too long here, lol! 😂😂 A great video as always guys. Have a fantastic day, take care!

One Christmas we had a big family gathering and my Nan (in her 90s at the time) asked what the big fuss was about oral sex, she said "Is that where you just sit around and talk about sex?, where's the fun in that?" We all just said yep, that's it Nanna, none of us was going to tell her what it really was! 😂😂
Well done👏, you got through it. My mate and I were watching this when his mum walks in “ooh i love Micky Flanagan” she says “leave it on”. and he did!!!😱. It was excruciating. I’ve never been so flat into a chair in my life. There is another clip from this show “No pubes”. equally awkward parent viewing but it is hilarious.
I'm 73, from the UK and I had a very sensible forward looking mother. When I was about 10½ years old she sat me down and gave me a little booklet and asked me to read it and if I had questions she would try to answer them.. The booklet was produced by a manufacturer of sanitary towels it was very easy to read and had pictures all about what would happen when I started to have periods. After reading several times and understanding it she took me to a local haberdashery shop where she bought everything I would need when the time came. Less than three months later I had my first one.. She told me her mother never told her anything and so when she had her first period she actually thought she was dying. As I got older she also did a sex talk with me asked what I knew and told me that I must always be sure not to let boys pressure me into doing things I didn't want to. She was fantastic and never minded answering my questions. I lost her in 2016, I miss her still😢
seriously, did you know nothing about sex when you were 14 ? i remember some 35 years ago when i was 11-12 dirty books would get exchanged on the playground
I’ve never stopped being shocked at how embarrassed the Americans are when reacting to this type of comedy 😂 Whatever you do don’t watch Roy Chubby Brown 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love your reaction to this, especially the "facial" bit xD way too funny. Also yes, I do believe stuff like that should be more private between couples (except sex education of course, which needs to be taught sensibly)...it's always crazy to me when I've known the women I've been with to be talking about stuff we did, behind my back with their friends. Something I would never consider doing the other way around.
I think the biggest problem is that since the birth of the internet there’s been a separation of love and sex where sex is just something to pass the time, there’s no mental connection anymore, if you just like the way someone looks it’s game on whereas there used to a connection between people who slept together.
Mickey talks about pegging, and then your immediate conversation contains phrases like “it’s a back door” and “down the rabbit hole”… subconsciously I think it’s left quite an impression on you two.. I wouldn’t be surprised if you give it a try tonight…
I can’t believe I just witnessed you cringe and laugh at the same time 😂😂😂😂😂😂 grate response and honest. Loved it, sorry if it made you feel uncomfortable. But it was funny. More please ❤😂😂🎉🎉
The next time you build an extension to your house, and get a plasterer in to skim the walls, Jess is going to look down at the radio and be unable to speak! 😂
No one ever took me aside and talked about “birds and bees.” My introduction was a pile of hardcore mags piled up in a friend’s house I was staying at on school holidays, early 80s. Stuff that made Playboy look like Highlights (kid’s stuff, IOW). I caused a scandal when I snuck a couple of those back to boarding school. Pretty sure a lot of the boys hadn’t seen anything like that before. Nearly got myself kicked out. To stay in school, I had to write a letter to my folks, explaining it all. My parents were split up, it was easier telling my mother. She laughed. My dad would’ve killed me, so he never knew. (He’s gone now, you can’t blackmail me! 😂) My little escapade forced the school to discuss the subject for the first time in a classroom setting. Wasn’t what the Christian Brothers had planned on. All giggles aside, it messed me up, literature vs actual intimacy, etc. It’s been uncomfortable ever since, even after 25 years married with two kids.
I really recommend this on TH-cam. "Outnumbered | The BEST of Karen Brockman" It is from a program called Outnumbered, a comedy, about a family with 3 children. The unusual thing was that the children were not given a specific script to follow and were encouraged to ask questions and act like they were at home with their own families. It was very funny and the actors who played the parents had to really think on their feet sometimes because they did not know exactly was going to come out of the child actors mouths.
A little piece of advice for anyone about to watch. Don't watch till Micky's finished around 14:00 mins then fast forward, stopping at the exact moment Jess says "it's a back door things come out of it".
I like you 2 a lot. You have found a common opinion that things need to be discussed; In present times the parents can not pretend sex , porn and aggressive and degrading stuff is not there. Your kids will at a certain moment see some stuff at a time and place that you can not control. You (the parents) better be prepared to put in open conversation things in the right perspective. I would expect you to think differently but I do advocate for openess about nudity within your family to keep that apart from sexual behaviour. We all have a body and we should be proud. Kids should learn that your body is not a shameful thing but you can be proud of your own body regardless of the physical features. Nudity is not a thing to be ashamed of but it is also private. And it is an honour to be feel OK to share this nudity with people you trust. Sex you should not be ashamed of but it is a very precious part of a relationship. Not to be handed out like your new batch of cookies 🙂 But talk about it with your kids and encourage them to share their feelings and opinions. It works! You will see that it deepens the intra-familiar relationship if you don't make it akward yourself..
Jess said that she is so out of touch with the world which is so progressive, but the world has become regressive when it comes to the consumption of porn and Jess is maintaining a very solid attitude towards the topic and this is exemplary. Go Jess!
Talking to your children about sex is essential, don't make it awkward. And teach them about contraception and safe sex .. very very important.. If you don't they WILL learn from their friends or porn maybe both! You won't stop them doing it, so help them do it safely.
6:30 As a parent and grandparent, the best you can do is bring up your children to respect the opposite sex and trust they won't do anything too radical before "the age". However, my partner still put a condom in our sons coat pocket everytime he went out from ages 13 to 18 - just in case he was dumb enough. So that would be my advice, you can't beat yourself up about it. Just have trust in your ability as parents and them as children. (you don't even have to have the backup plan)
Seger sings about "Night Moves" and the awkward teenage moves. That is how we learned everything. Our parents were too uptight to talk to us. That's all fine and understandable, generational even, but it led to a lot of "mistakes" and while sex-ed just came about in my high school years, it was far too little and too late. Porn taught me a bit. I went to live show's while overseas and saw things I had never even contemplated. But questions like "will you still love me tomorrow?" or "will you respect me in the morning?" are valid now as much as they were then. Guys want to sleep with a girl who will do anything. They probably would hesitate to marry them tho. The girls I thought I wanted to be with forever always cheated. Experimentation is something that is different for everyone. But lines get crossed and you can't come back from that. When your guts say "naaah, I don't think so" trust it. People may do things to find love or hold on to it, but It's hard to look at someone the same once they have debased themselves. That's what most porn or even open relationships devolve to.
Problem is that we are focusing on the wrong “heroes”. In the past we looked up to people who did great things. Now the focus (media) is fixated on the wrong people.
Not sure how widespread it is but where I live they brought in legislation that before entering a porn site you have to click a little banner that states you are of legal age. My question is how many 15 year old boys click the ' I am not old enough leave site' banner? As someone who was once a 15 year old boy I'm guessing not many at all.

As my mum grew up in the 70's and 80's and had me when she was a teenager, I'd say she missed those lessons.
The reaction of Jess when Mickey said "REVENGE" was priceless!
This venue is the 02 in London, Pink Floyd played at Earls Court if you are meaning the Pulse concert in 1994. Also in London.
The scream at the mention of the facial 😂😂
My days, I'm crying😅, plasterers radio 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Jess was nearly under the table and Mike couldn't hide 😂😂😂.... "I'm saying one thing, it's a back door and stuff comes out" ffs😂😂😂😂😂
She then says I don't want to open up to these doors 😭😭😭😭😭... This has been a real howler guys! Thankyou, I needed this.
Thank you both for the conversation about this. For being real and honest.
Unbelievable! you're spoiling us with another Mickey ahead of schedule, u little beauties! Perhaps a bit to heavy for you that one, well done for getting through it guys, big love from England
Loved the reaction. Jess made me laugh more than Micky did lol
not sure if you realize how much your content is appreciated keep up the good work you deserve everything!
I don't think I would have high-5'd at saying "Back door" 🤭🤣🤣🤣
Lol! Sinking into your seat was priceless!!
Jess: "...i don't want to be opened up to these doors, but sometimes it just happens to me.."
Is that admitting that Mike has tried to see what's hiding behind door number 2 before?? 'It just happened,!" 😂😂😂
Great words Mike, great conversation in the last minutes. You two are awesome!! Thankyou
When I was at school, in Biology class, sex education always started with " When a Man and Women Love each other "
Lmao yesss haha
13:32 watch Jess just internally implode with cringe/blushing was hilarious lol
The reaction from you both did not disappoint especially from Jess, the plasters radio bit was so funny, thanks for the video take care.
I love how 'mericans can be so puritanical sometimes.. 🤣
I know .. let me show your muh big gun.. but.. lets pretend i don't have a vijay jay.
And yet have the biggest p*rn in the world😂
Micky was playing at The O2 Arena in Greenwich, East London (AKA The Millennium Dome).
Greenwich is _not_ in East London...
It's postcode is London, S.E.10, so it in South East London.
I could see Jess's blushes just from reading the title.... So of course I had to press play and feel the heat in the room... Lol. Well done for getting through it the both of you.
The truth often makes people squirm! Jesse's reaction was priceless with regular glances from Mike just to check!!!
Jess's face when Micky mentioned a plasterers radio lmao😂
"Back door, and lots of things come out of it ".

Wow!.Just GOLD!.
Funny az!.👍
American parents are so wholesome haha
Mike and Jess are worried cos their 13y kid knows who the hawk tuah girl is
Meanwhile in the UK, parents are worried that their 13y kid is drinking cider in the park and getting pumped in the bushes 😂
That's only because that's what we were doing at 13. :)
@@wolfen210959 Speak for yourself, I was playing football in the park, or Final Fantasy X on PS2 xD I was in no hurry to grow up and do stupid stuff before I was ready to do them.
Kids are learning from each other too, even quite young kids learn a lot in the playground, usually if it’s whispered about, they want to know!
Im 54 and was doing things a lot worse than that at 13, and that was way before the internet

If this is how you guys react to Micky Flanagan, I can't wait till you discover Jimmy Carr 😂😂. Been really enjoying your reactions, had a little binge of your channel the last few days and it's been awesome, look forward to more 👍👍

Steve
talking from a UK perspective he is not wrong. back in my day young boys when starting to become sexual at best had censored magazines, nowadays they can access the internet and watch stuff far in advance of what they should be learning about and it can distort their minds into thinking is normal
The fact that porn is so accessible now is even more reason to talk about normal and healthy sex and relationships, to counter all the extreme stuff out there
Thank you thank you been waiting for your reaction to this 😂😂
Quote Jess “i don’t want to be opened up to these doors” 😂😂 I don’t think she realised what she said there 😂

Hey guys!
Love watching your videos, always good fun.
Ricky of course also being a very funny guy.
Seeing Jesse's reaction to some of the things Micky was saying had me laughing, ahhahaha! 😂😂
I have to agree, sex has become way too open these days but I guess I'm somewhat old school when it comes to these things.
A great video as always guys.
Have a fantastic day, take care!
Think that place was Hammersmith Apollo, loads of comedians play there, cool venue is very SW of London in Hammersmith ... been a few times, not often do bands play there normally musicals and comedians

Made the mistake of watching at 3am while going through insomnia. Half an inhaler and a few burst blood vessels later (trying not to scream with laughter at "looking like a plasterer's radio" nearly caused a stroke) i'm done.😂
I lost her in 2016, I miss her still😢
My son is 14 as well and also heard the same thing. 17th may 2010 and as a parent it's scary how quick they want our kids to grow up now.
seriously, did you know nothing about sex when you were 14 ? i remember some 35 years ago when i was 11-12 dirty books would get exchanged on the playground

That video was great. Honest, funny, and so relatable
When I first saw the tittle "MY WIFE COULDN’T HANDLE THIS!" I though maybe she was too far away and couldn't reach.
I’ve never stopped being shocked at how embarrassed the Americans are when reacting to this type of comedy 😂 Whatever you do don’t watch Roy Chubby Brown 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No, no, don't say that, we want to see Mike and Jess react to Roy, it's gonna be great. :)
I agree they shouldn't watch him, he's shit
Imagine calling the king of England “A big eared C…” Micky is goated 😂
11:00 Micky was lucky they didn't have to change the barrel! 😉🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣

The next time you build an extension to your house, and get a plasterer in to skim the walls, Jess is going to look down at the radio and be unable to speak! 😂
Jess will never be the same.great job guys.
Plasterer's radio omg 😂😂😂😂
Without doubt the best reaction video I have ever seen.🤣😂🤣

The theater is probably the Apollo .used to be called the Hammersmith odeon . As in no sleep till Hammersmith,
I really recommend this on TH-cam.
Just love jess her reaction half embarrassment half amused!
Jess' reaction makes it even funnier!
😂😂
Jess ,What a load of sense you utter, I'd bloody well vote for you gal!!!
Brilliant reaction 😂 Jess cringing is just golden.
A friend of mine used to say
That’s for out going not incoming 😂😂😂😂
Children hear things at school, too, from friends. Kids seem to know more these days than we ever did at their ages. Crazy.
Have you seen the British Sitcom " Only fool's and horses". The scene where Del Boy falls through the bar in the pub with his mate
Trigger.
Love watching you react to Mickey! ❤😂
Problem is that we are focusing on the wrong “heroes”. In the past we looked up to people who did great things. Now the focus (media) is fixated on the wrong people.
factual facts...😂 always my favourite type of fact...😊✌️

Venue is probably an ice hockey stadium in uk, which is why they have the same/similar set up
Not sure how widespread it is but where I live they brought in legislation that before entering a porn site you have to click a little banner that states you are of legal age.
My question is how many 15 year old boys click the ' I am not old enough leave site' banner? As someone who was once a 15 year old boy I'm guessing not many at all.
