I'm cockney 😊👍 born in the east end of London. Now living in Norwich uk 🇬🇧
React to kevin bridges on Britain's deficit, I've got mates like Greece . Please
That move he does is cockney swagger
I ended up in bed with my gf's twin. It was very awkward and of course she didn't believe it was an honest mistake. Apparently he doesn't look anything like her 🤷😂
Her twin was a guy 😂
🥁
😂😂😂
😆😆👍🏻
ba dum tss
"Relax homeowner" has always been one of my favourite pay offs from Micky. I'm glad you got it as i've seen many people who didn't.
Sadly Mike, To be a Cockney you need to have been born within the sound of Bow Bells. They are the church bells of St.Mary Le Bow in London's Cheapside.. which is in the East End of the City of London. Ah well, at least you can strut like Micky.
Love your reactions.... they always leave me wirth a smile on my face... thank you for being two lovely human beings...
However, if you're from the north, all Londoners are Cockneys! 😅
@@colrhodes377 LOL...!!
@@colrhodes377 Soft Ba...rds too... :)
@colrhodes377 Yeah.... well, them mob have always been thick as shit.
@rnw2739 Nope, we say it as we see it. We in the north are intelligent , interesting people who don't mince their words or tolerate fools. You, Sir, are obviously a fool!
"From the back, it is quite hard"
Phrasing mate, phrasing.
I was going to time stamp that 👀🤣
5:08 Not sure the lady understands the British meaning of “ chomping on someone’s carpet “ 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on touching up the sister and passing it off as "mistaken identity " 👌10/10😂
Yeah, I bet she was wearing totally different clothes 😂
😂😂@@i_jamz9092
"from the back, it IS kinda hard" dude, stop digging!!😹😹
I just got forced to subscribe because I now can’t watch comedy without the comforting sound of Jess laughing all the way through it, and I’ve only been watching them for a week
The 'home owner' part always gets me. I know it's coming every time I see it, but it still buckles me. 😂😂😂
Lol.. I'll bet that's the first time Sarah Millican has ever been described as posh 😂
Boots is a big chemist chain in the UK
You guys are just as entertaining as the videos you react to 😂
Sarah Millican posh? Her whole thing is she's the exact opposite of posh! She's from Newcastle!
South Shields - south of the Tyne.
Bit posh, bit dirty is one of the best moments. Great stuff folks.
Awesome reactions from Mike and " Home Owner! " 🤣
To be a true Cockney you have to be born witin the sound of the Bow Bells. Love watching your reactions, keep up the great work :)
A Cockney is someone born in East London, within earshot of the Bow bells. In the rest of the country we tend to generalise it to anyone born in London.
Do we?
@@wah11111 Yes
Or even anyone from 'Down South'; I was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire, lived in London until 7yrs, then spent the next 12 years growing up in Cornwall. I now live in Manchester and was called a Cockney by a local... I politely educated him! 😐 -x-
Oh dear!🤣Cockney from Liverpool? A Cockney is East End London,a Scouser is from Liverpool. Many will be upset I'm sure,I don't care,I'm miles away from both of them🤣✌️
He said ‘it’s like’ as an example of another regional linguistic characteristic. Oh dear!
1) A cockney is a working-class person from east London, tradtitionally born within the sound of Bow Bells (which you may know from the children´s song "Oranges and lemons"). Outside London, and especially in the north of England, it is used to describe anyone from London, or even anyone from south-east England (the area which surrounds London). 2) Mike, as we always used to say at school: Nice haircut! When are you getting it finished off?
To us in Newcastle a cockney is anyone born south of Middlesbrough 😂
Micky Flanagan = funniest man on the planet!
Thanks for the Mickey guys, really needed this.
Fun reaction as always… have you guys reacted to Tiny Tim - Transport Company ?? 👍🇬🇧❤️
God damn your intro song! I keep bloody singing it walking around the house now. Thanks guys lol
Boots is chain of chemists in the UK
Really nice to see you guys got all the jokes.
Smart, honest, happy people reacting is so nice to see. Never stop making these, you guys are really good at it.
Boots is a pharmasist on the high Street
Hi Guys. Love your reactions, Boots is a retail store that started as a pharmacy and, over the years, grew into a bigger store that sells loads of stuff like children's clothes, perfumes, small selection of food stuffs, sandwiches and soft drinks, baby carriages, haircare products and more. In the past it was an easy entry to sales etc. Absolutely that's never a put down just a fact of life. Stay safe you two.
A cockney is a Londoner who is born within the sound of “Bow Bells” so someone who is from the East End.
They are known for being characters with a bit of cheek and swagger. 😮
I have just come across your content and subscribed 🥰 love it! I’d love to see you react to the Inbetweeners series . Much love from 🇬🇧 x
Boots is a pharmacy that also sells cosmetics etc.
Part of US firm Walgreens
It always, always happens with me. I look across at someone else’s plate on another table and say “ Damn, I should’ve ordered that”.
Jess still has the best laugh!
A Cockney is an east Londoner born under the sound of the Bow bells from the St Mary-Le- Bow Church in Cheapside London. A radius of approx 2 miles.
Within the sound of bow bells is more accurate a description.
@@no-oneinparticular7264 you are so right
@@no-oneinparticular7264 I think we already had the gist
My grandad on my dad's side was a cockney
When I started secondary school (high school) and I was around 11, there was a ginger girl in my tutor class who had a twin sister. Thought I saw her later on , so I gave an excitable greeting and I got the biggest look from this girl like who the hell are you? I didn't even know about the twin so I was like what just happened? A year later though I was dating that one so she came around in the end 😂
A Cockney is someone from a tight geographical area of East London. The official definition is someone born within hearing of Bow Bells.
I live for these videos of you reacting to Mickey lol
I am now addicted to your wonderful channel. I'm looking back at your many vlogs and watching every one.
I thought I'd tell you that the winner of BGT, is now being asked to perform in the U.S. as well as her major role in a London West End Musical. She is a star.
I recommend the two ronnies rhyming slang sermon.
If you want to see Cockney rhyming slang in action. It’s hilarious.
A cockney is someone born within the area of the sounding of the Bow bells in east London which before the conurbation of the area could be heard about 7 miles away, now only a mile or so on a good day, but someone born in the general/original area can still call themselves a true cockney, but anyone in the east of London will consider themselves a cockney especially if they have the accent, swagger and knowledge of the area.
For our North American friends. Cockney=Londoner and yes as a 70-year-old Londoner born at The Elephant and Castle who moved to this house on the edge of S E London and Kent in 1983,I DO know about the significance of The Bow Bells. lol
COYL.
Hold up …. Jess has a twin 😳there’s another one 😬woah … oh I didn’t mean to say that out loud 😮🤣😂🤣anyway, my point , if you like mickeys cockney walk , have a look at the proper original cockney, Del Boy trotter , from the comedy classic “only fools and horses “ now that’s some classic British humour, I’m pretty sure you will score with reactions of those guys !!! Regards from Kevin in England 🏴
Boots is a pharmacy chain - every town has one
Loved your reation to Mickey F. Keep laughing Jess!
GREAT STUFF GUYS, MICKY DON'T MISS THE FUNNY BONE💯🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥
You are my someone is the sweetest thing. All the best to you both from Scotland. Rab
It always sounds to me as if they're saying "we're watching Micky Flan again" 😂 love the videos 👍
Great reaction, also good to see you are well and safe after the Hurricane hitting Florida.
I also use the squeeze test when im buying avocados. Never tried it on twins though
OMG i didn't pick up that she meant him until he pointed it out, thats hilarious 😂
Ace reaction - your own little story added greatly to this.
😂😂😂😂 my wife constantly complains to me that I just need to be upset/annoyed with her too
You two are hilarious. Best reaction channel.
John Bishop is a similar type of comedian, but from Liverpool, you might enjoy some of his stand up.
hey guys,,, since you like "the big yin" billy connolly i suggest you watch "dont drink the water in spain"
If I was single i wouldn't be dating,be in the woods in a cabin with a dog.i have forgotten someone's name, was calling her princess, sweetheart, treacle while thinking was is her name, I took her home and she lent over to say goodbye and whispered "my name's laura" lol
You two are amazing, really enjoy your reactions. Thank you
Boots = a chain of pharmacy/shops.
We had a local excentric who changed his name to The Occupier.
Jesus Christ, you dropped a bollock with the sister story 😂😂😂
A couple of recommendations now we are nearing your elections, "Frankie Boyles American Autopsy" and "Stewart Lee; Brexit v Trump". Frankie's video was recorded on the night that Trump was elected in 2016. Watch it right through. The final monologue is hilarious. Stewarts video is a clip from his stage show and shows how alike Britons and Americans are. This is also hilarious.
Cockney rhyming slang is a whole language of its own - there are videos of it....I'd love to see you react to one and see how you get on translating it!!!😅
you have to do al murray " why the British are undefeated world war champions " I assumed you would get there or it be requested but thought id drop it in ! keep up the good work guys you are both amazing!
A cockneey is someone born within the sound of the Bow Bells in East London. Many people are "Eastenders" as they were born in East London but are not true Cockneys. Ny Dad was a true Cockney.
I did know 2 single, identical twins, who moved from The Midlands to London, very well from 1995 and still saw one of them until Covid curtailed our activities around 4 years ago. I never knew any Woman who had it and I didn't , but it was decided to take no chances after 20+ years in an Open Relationship.
Mike - at 50 seconds in, I paused it to let that sink in a little, and found myself imagining watching your channel in an alternate universe where Jess is a Cockney from London, how that laugh might have changed just a tad and the strong Bri-ish accent (inbetween sips of tea); but then I came back to this reality and carried on the video :D
Cheers guys, fantastic as always!
There's literally a "I want to be mad" meme for what you're describing lol.
Jesus Mike you tried pulling Jess’s sister ! … respect brother you are the OG of reaction tv hosts 🫡
Me thinks difficult would have been more appropriate than "hard"! 🤪
He's great, brilliant at Stand Up, great on panel shows, just a naturally funny guy. Great reaction as always, I'm really hoping you can get back to Rhod Gilbert soon, Anger Management and Bedding are so good but all of his are funny. Shower Gels is also superb and some are short enough to combine into one reaction.
A Cockney is someone from the east end of London . . . you two are funny as well...
Another great reaction to Micky Flanagan. BTW I am going to see him in central London at the end of October. He's currently on tour. Looking forward to it! 😅
Great reaction and revelation it was fun to watch thanks for the video and take care.
Peace love from England ❤
Take a look at Cockney rhyming slang
In order to be a true Cockney one must be born close to the Bow Bells in London, my dad didn't know his mother was a Cockney until he spoke to her on the phone (she grew up in Peckham), also you must know Cockney rhyming slang such as Frog & Toad (road), apples & pears (stairs), bricks & mortar (daughter), dog & bone (phone), etc
Loved this one, thanks reactors 🤣
A cockney is someone from east London, traditionally its someone born within the sound of the bow bells (church bells of st Mary le bow, pronounced Bo)
Love watching you two.
Try watching some female british artists like AMY WINEHOUSE, LISA STANDSFIELD or 1960s DUSTY SPRINGFIELD. Think you would love them
I would love to see Mike break out laughing like Jess.
Born within the sound of Bow Bells to be a true Cockney
A true cockney is some born under the sound of the Old Bow bell. If you can’t hear that bell, you ain’t a cockney. I’m a south Londoners and I’m not……except to everyone outside London who think we’re all cockneys (well over 40 yr old anyone, under 40s speak road man now 😂)
Definition of a Cockney: Cockney is a dialect of the English language, mainly spoken in London by Londoners with working-class and lower middle-class roots. The term Cockney is also used for a person from the East End, of London or, traditionally, born within earshot of Bow Bells.
He would be very upset comparing him to a scouser.
Ay! 🧐😅😅
Boots is a high street chain of chemists/pharmacies
Don't worry about mistaken butt identity mate. At the place my girlfriend & I worked at we all wore the same uniform & there was a manager who looked exactly like me from the back. My GF sneaked up behind him & grabbed his arse. He turned around in shock & she realised the mistake. Luckily he saw the funny side of it but my GF was so embarrassed. When she told me I honestly thought I was going to have a heart attack I laughed so much & my legs collapsed from under me.
Yup, husband to an identical twin.
I tried that trick too.... 🤣
Cockney is someone born in the sound of London Bow Bells .
You guys HAVE to react to Sean lock. A hilarious comedian that's now passed away.
I'd suggest one of the compilation videos from 8 out of 10 cats (a panel show) where I personally found him the funniest.
You two are great.
Hiya ,a strict definition of a Cockney is someone born within earshot of the church bells of " Saint Mary Le Bow " in Cheapside in l London ❤❤Ps the spelling is correct.
My Nan was a cockney living in Cheapside, but with imaginitive pretensions of grandeur, used to pronounce it key-ap-sid-ee.
A true cockney is from East London and born within the sound of bow bells! Cockneys have there own dialect called Cockney Rhyming Slang!!! An example is I was on The Dog and Bone? Which is Phone! and Cockney Rhyming slang is no part of the UK culture and used in everyday conversation.
Boots is a national chain of Pharmacies in The UK 🇬🇧.
You should check out The Two Ronnies Sketch of The Vicars Sermon in Cockney Rhyming Slang it will teach you Cockney.
I am a Scouser and we use our own words which is called Scouse to describe everyday things and its unique to Liverpool.
A Cockney is someone born in East London. Supposed to be born within earshot of the Bow Bells church. They have a distinct accent using rhyming slang.
Micky is a Cockney
Cockney is London . Scousers are Liverpool .
Hey Guys!, A Cockney is someone from the East End of London.
From Wiki:
Cockaigne or Cockayne (/kɒˈkeɪn/) is a land of plenty in medieval myth, an imaginary place of luxury and ease, comfort and pleasure, opposite to the harshness of medieval peasant life
In the 1820s, the name Cockaigne came to be applied jocularly to London as the land of Cockneys ("Cockney" from a "cock's egg", an implausible creature; see also basilisk), though the two are not linguistically connected otherwise. The composer Edward Elgar used the word "Cockaigne" for his concert overture and suite evoking the people of London, Cockaigne (In London Town), Op. 40 (1901).
Fun reaction, guys.
Twin troubles... hahaha, if your forgiven, we can forgive you. But.... not sure about believing the 'accident' excuses.. 😂
😮 you seem to have your hand in or on the wrong thing 😂😂😂
Your new name must be twin sin😊
Cheers guys 🦘🇦🇺👍
Please can you react to Liam neeson ,in life to short, short but very funny
I went to the same school as Micky in the east end of London
I was in the same class at school as Andy Bradbury.
Ok when is the twin going to debut ? 😂
