@@cryodual Its become tradition that the other sub-reddits to screw with our flag just so people can laugh at us, we have a template for the flag in multiple sizes we know how the flag is meant to look but we can't stop the trolls. If anything We did try to start a second flag but Valorant took it over, we did manage to get one other maple leaf hidden away on the right near the end of the canvas's life.
Honestly at this point it's become such a meme that people constantly tried to grief the flag and keep it from actually becoming the leaf. That's the big reason it's like that now.
Where did you here this? I was in the r/placecanada discord and Germany and touhou were two separate alliances that we had communication with. Germany actively helped us, though it was not enough until we moved back to this location (we left once the flag expanded, and came back when you see the beaver appear). We made alliance with touhou since the flag was expanded our of our control (3rd party 1337 building used bots to make the flag bigger). We basically had the agreement that touhou has their side, we have ours, then meet in the middle to maintain the right side of the flag.
Struggling to draw a leaf should only be like, at the beginning part, they could've drawn a perfect leaf But people noticed it, it gets well known and Trolls decided to step in and here we are Like at some point they DID draw a perfect leaf but you look away for a minute and then its gone

Guess everyone celebrating the success of a proper leaf, legitimately last year was a roller coaster. Watching an entire Bad Apple play at the side was super funny.
I just want to clear a few things up since I was in the placecanada discord helping with the flag: - Germany wasn't against us, those are randoms that make Germany roads everywhere. - if you watch the pixel-placing rate of the leaf, you can see just how many people that Canada has to fight in order to maintain the leaf. It's not that we can't make the leaf, we're out here fighting against everyone that's trolling it. 🤣 - We initially had alliances with Bangladesh and touhou, until our flag was forcibly expanded by the 1337 building bots. - After the 1337 bots descended, the place Canada group left to the an area to the right of technoblade and made provinces/the flag. - We come back to the original location when you see the beaver. - Most people have stopped trolling and the 1337 slowed down once we moved back. Germany helped us on the leaf and beaver. We renewed our touhou alliance and shared space since our flag stayed larger than originally. Also, I'd like to thank all the other strangers that came to help us and lend support throughout place 2023 :) you guys are honourary Canadians now.
the german road on there was sometimes done by german streamers. the placeDE leaders only ever tried to help canada, although we gave up for 1 or 2 days because there was too much attention by other communities that we couldn't get it fixed.
