    Omg Joe. I had no idea about holding down the button on the controller. I’ve been pushing it over and over again all this time! As usual…..you provided great content. My adapters work like a charm. I’m so glad I found your you tube channel so long ago. Thumbs up from me!

    Super informative video. Total noob here, and this setup was super easy to understand. Also, extremely high video production quality. Well done

    Dude! Great video! I actually bought my first fan and never turned off the fan on the Glowforge. So dumb lol

    I have the ac infinity inline fan connected to my Glowforge.I have the adapters I purchased from you on both ends and and adapter on the back. So glad I bought these. I also have that “sexy window insert” LOL
    I’m hoping you can help me with what I’d like to do. I love the setup. But it only allows me to place my Glowforge in one place. I would love to move my glowforge out of my Woodshop. Or in another area in my shop. But I only have the one window. And cutting a hole is not an option. However… I do have a crawl space under my shop. I’m just curious how far away I can get from an exterior fan before the external exhaust is not doing it’s job? Maybe that’s a question for AC Infinity?

    Thank you for the video. I just bought the glowforge pro and the GF airfilter. I could I use both the inline fan and the air filter together to ensure the heat and smell come out of my enclosed room?

    Is it necessary to have a hose between the reducer and the fan on the side connected to the Glowforge?

    Thank you very much for your videos regarding the glowforge's sound. I was thinking about getting a glowforge and was about to give up due to the sound issue but your videos reassured me. I still have a question regarding the glowforge pro : with the passthrough slot, how does it affect the sound ? Because i work from home and noise is a top priority. In any case i think i'll use your affiliate code to get my glowforge :)

      I use the passthrough slot almost everyday and there's not much of a noise difference between using it or not using it.

    Hey, great video! i've subscribed!. does the turn-on order matter? should i turn on the fan then the GF? ?

    • @MartinsonManufacturing
      @MartinsonManufacturing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn’t matter enough to make a big difference, but I like to turn my fan on before the engraving starts.

    Hi There! Love your video! I just purchased the Glowforge Pro (it hasn’t shipped to me yet) and the Air Filter from Glowforge, do I need the Affinity Fan you are talking about as well?

    • @MartinsonManufacturing
      @MartinsonManufacturing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome, congrats! Nope, the AC Infinity Fan is ONLY for people who don't have the Glowforge Air Filter :)

    Such an informative video, thank you so much. One questions...what happens if you forget to turn off the glowforge fan? Will something get ruined or cause issues down the road on the glowforge machine?

    • @MartinsonManufacturing
      @MartinsonManufacturing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it will be hard to forget because the fan sounds like an ear piercing jet. I don’t foresee an issue with that, but I honestly don’t know. I’d feel more comfortable turning it off though.

    I was trying to use your link for a Leak Free 6” - 4” reducer and it appears there is no stock. Do you plan to have more of these soon?

    Is there a way to have the exhaust fan always on? I would like to plug the glowforge and the fan into the same receptacle and have it controlled as a light switch. That way students would not be able to use the glowforge without the fan on.

    • @MartinsonManufacturing
      @MartinsonManufacturing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Just unplug the speed controller switch from your AC infinity fan. Once the outlet gets power, the fan will automatically turn on without having to turn the fan on manually with the switch.

    Quick question, i have my glowforge plugged in to the glowforge air filter but the noise on my glowforge is so loud sometimes waking up the baby. Is the ac infinity worth geting to reduce noise level if i have it connected to the filter?

    • @MartinsonManufacturing
      @MartinsonManufacturing  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're using the GF air filter you should turn the noisy fan in your GF off. In the app, go to settings, and check the box that says "GF Air Filter Attached"

    I have a question. I bought the ac infinity fan, your adaptor from amazon and infinity clamps. I tm ied it now as a test using GF medium draftboard and it is so smokey! Prior of having the fun it was not smokey but a bit loud. Any idea why it is smoking now? my room smells and full smoke. Thank you.

      Make sure the arrows on top of your fan are facing out towards your window and your fan is at full speed. If that doesn’t work send me a picture or a video of your exhaust set up martinsonmanufacturing@gmail.com
