This is a great video it provides an appealing visual look and will keep my wife happy and I will be able to vent 3D printing fumes out. Thank you for sharing this information.
I just purchased an Eco Flow 2 portable air conditioner and heater I need something that my two vent hoses to go through. I used part of a breezeway vent and created my own . I have a 2003 379 Peterbilt. Thanks.
Did you measure the inside length and add the 5/8" depth of the channel for just one side, or did you add the 5/8" depth for both sides plus the inside length? Thanks,
what kind of worker should i hire to install a vented hood? i need the hood to be vented through a double glazed window in kitchen. so i think I'll need some kind of glass worker. but i don't know what qualification worker i should look for?
I have casement windows and that won't work for me. I plan on making or using one of the window screen frames and installing a clear segment in place... instead of the screen. Also, I have a local metal supplier that also supplies surplus plastic. Both the metal and plastic are priced per pound rather than the new cost. The acrylic is 3.25 lb so a 2'x4'x1/4" sheet is $40. if you have a like supplier maybe worth checking.
I purchased your adapter and I now have my acrylic sheet with the 4” hole. Do you have any recommendations for the glue to secure the adapter to the acrylic sheet?
There's glue out there specifically for acrylic that dries clear, but a good quality super glue will do the trick. Sometimes it's dries filmy white though so you might want to do a test spot first or just be careful if looks are important to you. But it will hold just fine.
I cut the hole at exactly 4" I recently discovered this vent cover which I think is awesome and will also work with a 4" hole: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LPJT3NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@MartinsonManufacturing this is awesome ,thanks ! I ordered your exhaust extension off Amazon with a 6" inline fan so I'll buy the 6" adapter and go with that size for venting. Thanks for your help! Awesome
Thanks for reaching out. We just had our first born and life's a bit crazy right now so I'll have to pass. Wish I could help you out. If you don't mind me asking, what do you need the two holes for? Don't you just need one?
It is amazing how Americans operate with these idiotic unit of measures... 1/2, 5/8th... Why are you making things difficult for yourself for no reason, using units that some old British king pulled out of his pants 300 years ago ...

Lifesaver! Was worried what management would say if they notice but I think this will discrete enough that they won’t even know.
2:20 had me rofl 🤣 “2 inches seems to be sturdy enough for me.”
He totally sounded like agent Smith a couple of times during that. Like his duct work as well.

Hello, do you custom make these?
Top man! Just got my GF+ so this will be handy for a newbie like me!
Oh wow I could use one of these with a hood to move my stove to the window. I have a really tiny apartment.
Can you make these with an 8 inch exhaust hole
hi! i need a 4” for my window for a portable dryer who has a 4” hose can you send the link to order one from you?
Hi Patsy! Send me an email: joe@martinsonmanufacturing.com
Where to find the vent tube
I need this!!! Can you make them in 10in? I’ve been searching for something like this for a while!

Hi. Do you sell the acrylic window vent with the adapter?
Nope, just the plastic adapter.
Would this product work for replacing a glass pane in a basement window?
I don't see why it couldn't. I use 1/4" but you may need to use 1/8" because that's probably the thickness of the glass.
Hello! This is absolutely perfect! Do you make them for 10in ducts?
I don't but may consider. Is 10" ducting pretty rare? I see a lot of 4" and 6".
Not for larger tents. You can get exhaust kits in 8in 10in and 12in.
YES! Just what I was looking for, I'm about to order the adapter but whats the diameter of the hole cut into the acrylic for the 4 inch ?
I cut the hole at exactly 4"
I recently discovered this vent cover which I think is awesome and will also work with a 4" hole:

Anything to make this weatherproof so it doesn't get drafty in the cold weather?
Yes, I would go to your hardware store and get some window weather stripping with an adhesive backing and put it on all four corners.
I needed this! Thank you! YES! I know what I'm making today. :D
Where do you have your inline fan for your personal Glowforge setup? Do you have it hanging somewhere or sitting on a work surface?
I have a deep table and it sits behind the Glowforge.
Did you say you sell these somewhere?? I want one, no I need one!
Are you referring to the entire window insert or just the white adapter? Are you using it to vent fumes with a laser cutter?
@@MartinsonManufacturing yessir the entire window insert, just for venting warm air outside.
Send me an email and let’s get you set up!

Hey dude! Are these going to be available on Amazon again anytime soon?
Yes sir, hoping to be back in stock by early to mid August.
@@MartinsonManufacturing awesome, love to hear! Will def check back
I need one of plexiglass but I need two circles on it where I can connect the two ducts to their separate attachments. How can I contact you?
I don't sell the plexiglass insert just the plastic adapters that go in it.
@@MartinsonManufacturing you don’t sell the whole thing? Plastic insert on the plexiglass?
Nope, just the plastic insert. Sorry for the confusion.
Hey man. If i give you dimensions would you make a custom window insert with 2 holes? Ill pay for the service.
Thanks for reaching out. We just had our first born and life's a bit crazy right now so I'll have to pass. Wish I could help you out.
If you don't mind me asking, what do you need the two holes for? Don't you just need one?
My schedule is looking better for July, if you're still looking for an acrylic window insert let me know.
Links on Amazon aren't all working
Thanks for the heads up. They should all be good now.

What would you do for an out swing door?
For a crank out window you’ll need a piece the size of your window. Replace the screen with a piece of plexiglass.
