Speaking of drink prices, Edge always kept the beer priced at $2. I think they said the new promoters raised it to $5. I didn't buy any so that's hearsay. Also the weekend pass with camping was only $75, now it's $135. It looks like the RV people have taken over anyway.
Been going to the Smokeout since the early days when it was originally at Salisbury. Smokeout four I thnk. Hit 4 Long Road rides. The new Smokeout can't hold a candle to the original. Back then the place was packed with cool custom chops people actually RODE in on. Hardly a trailer or RV in sight. The vendors actually sold custom chopper parts, not just hats and t-shirts. It's mostly posers now.

Yeah if you have people to split a room it's cheaper to get a hotel. I'm not mad at a $5 beer at a venue like that usually it's more than that.
