Your question is pretty non-descript. What is the difference between the two? One is an agar and one is a broth. One is used for identifying gram-positive cocci and one is for isolating and determining the lactose-fermenting capabilities gram-negative rods.
please can u tell me how to make bile tolerant bacteria results on paper.....?? means how to generate results actually... which type of format we should use...?????
Sir How to check bile salt tolerance of bacillus coagulans in food Which online platform in India provide the specific bile salt Hoping for quick response
MacConkey agar is a solid medium that is selective for Gram negative bacteria and differential for Lactose fermenting vs non-lactose fermenting, there is no salt. The 6.5% is NaCl and the goal is to see which organism can grow in the presence of salt and which one cannot, so you only look for turbidity. I am sure you have already found the answer but in case anyone else was wondering...
Of course I could do that. But I would not want to deny you of a very opportunistic and positive teaching moment.

Abdul Azeez, I have never tested B. coagulans for bile salt tolerance, so I can't help you. Sorry
Should we do zigzag on bile esculin tube ?
It doesn't matter if it is a straight line or zig zag.
what happens if half the slant is black? is that still a positive
Yes
what's the difference between 6.5% and MacConkey agar?
Good question. Just as I would tell my students when I don't know the answer to a question that can be easily investigated: Look it up.
