Hello sir can I used nutrient agar for sputum and pus culture

You can, but for these cuture types, you shouldn't substitute a clear nutrient agar like Mueller-Hinton for blood agar which is also a nutrient agar. Blood agar is necessary for the observation of hemolysis. Sputum cultures are routinely set up to sheep-blood, CNA, chocolate and MacConkey agar plates.
