It’s very raw, and I can see why a lot of people dislike it. But as a die hard cudi fan, I love it for its unrefined sound. There’s something almost emotional about it. But to each there own ig! :)

I have a wild story to this song - this like a version took place in 2010. On the Friday it played, I was driving home as they re-played it that afternoon. I got home... and one of my housemates had been descending into his own "pursuit of happiness". I got home, he was messed up off his face and assaulted his partner, so I beat the snot out of him... and sadly for him he never walked again. I don't know if he ever found happiness, but I sure as hell didn't.

Its just very flat vocals, i haven't seen any complaints about the instruments, and their previous covers have been decent, especially their cover of Dreams by the Cranberries.
I'd also recommend listening to the original just so you see the difference
