Update on my new training routine that I learned from this video....today we had 60s in upstate ny so a local track was open...usually I get arm pump really bad 1st session ..zero all day...also I could pound laps the entire moto and didn't get tired 💪🤘
Great vid! Gave me some new ideas. What is the name of the cardio machine in the background that has the yellow handles that is used standing up in a skiing type motion?
We do a lot off pull ups and dips with our clients, it was just not included in this specific workout. But those are go to movements in the gym and good for translate good to motor cross
As professional trainer I keep cardio and strength training separate for moto. 2-3 days strength training and 2-3 days cardio training and there’s def a lot more weight involved but I guess if you’re trying to keep the weight of the average high school girl then these light workouts aren’t bad.
Hey Chris, As I have worked on Major motion pictures, getting actors ready for roles. Trained some of the Swedish Olympic teams and helped a few CrossFit teams win regionals. We like to emphasize on certain things for sports specific training. As you will see in future workouts for moto cross we will post. So thanks for subscribing and enjoying our channel and we appreciate the support. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@Mak_223 absolutely, the level of cardio conditioning these guys do is detrimental to maintaining muscle mass, typically pro motocross athletes are strong af but not large and there def is a way to build lots of strength without size which is what their routine promotes. However I will say since I’m not a pro rider (local champion in the 35b class and 2nd place in the 25b class) I like to balance my hobbies I do mma as well and having some decent weight and muscle mass helps my body type when it comes to that also I like the aesthetics of having a well built physique as I used to compete in body building (men’s physique npc) so it’s def hard to balance the pros and cons and again since I’m not going pro I’ll happily take the extra weight and strength and power that comes with not weighing the same as a high school girl. 😂
@ hey to each their own. In the context top level athletes pro moto guys are just leaner and more efficient. There isn’t a need for us am guys to completely focus on that if that’s not what you’re chasing. Me personally would rather be lean that massive. I feel there’s more benefits for my needs there. All subjective.
FIRE!
Been looking for some moto training for the gym, great vid, simple and affective..thanks 🤙

Good stuff
Thank you! Glad you are liking it! Working on a new one now!
Forgot the main body part used in motocross. LEGS!!!
Oh trust us! We work legs 😏😈
I don't know if you noticed, but all of the upper body workouts incorporated the legs.

Ski Erg by Concept
Up!
why did you end with the 30s on/off sprints on the rower?
It’s just a finisher for breathing. A dessert if you will 🤙🏻
What if you don’t have a rower what is a good alternative?
Well what do you have? There’s more then one way to cross the finish line
What kg weights should I use?
Demanding weight. Basically as long as it doesn’t effect your form. Is usually a good meter.
No pull ups and dips?

So is this whole workout 1 day at the gym or is each part a different day
One Day
Get a job working on trucks
For The Long Haul! 🛻 😆
