This is everything I wanted 4 years ago (I am still happy to see a review with built models of the rcx)
holy smokes ahah, I subscribed for the in-depth reviews of old technic sets and you convinced me to haggle for a 2.0 earlier this week, I guess now this video decides if I buy it or not lol
Did you buy it XD
@@NonsenseWars sadly no, I tried to lowball the seller and he ended up upballing me from his previous offer lol
so instead I bought a cheap 8002 droideka, crazy how different prices can be in EU sometimes
Your product placement is on point, I had a Baja blast with lunch today 👍
My other drink of choice is the Jack in the Box iced coffee XD
@@NonsenseWars Whatever Taco Bell / Pepsi is paying you it's not enough, I didn't even know it was sold in stores, there's a 12 pack in the fridge as we speak 😅
will there be video with robosports, extreme creatures or ultimate builder set expansions? i heard in ultimate builders there are some nifty builds!
Probably no Robo Sports or Extreme Creatures, but we are planning to do one on Ultimate Builders. No idea when it'll be done though.
I had 2.0 rcx remote but forgot to remove batteries and they leaked, cM you show how to reassemble remote
Thanks
Glad you were able to fix it!
I think you’re just slightly too late to the game.
No no, this is fashionably late XD
A wizard is never late...
The best thing about Lego is that it always appeals to new audiences as they discover it and being Lego, still works and is highly durable
@@jimlewis1 Well, aside from the "fire resistant" wire that disintegrates into a short circuit 😅. I recently saw a comment from Brazil where the EV3 is still prohibitively expensive but they are using NXT and earlier Lego Mindstorms products to learn about robotics. It's a bit of a double edged sword, initially expensive but built to last a lifetime. At least before they started being tied to phone apps that will only be around for so long...
@@jimlewis1 I don’t know if that applies to RCX. RIS only runs on older versions of Windows. I managed to get it to run properly on a virtual machine but the com port pass through was finicky. I got lucky and found a Windows XP pc at a garage sale for 10 bucks with a serial port.
