smant is sometimes so good that he inmediatly realizes they will never find him and gives himself away or the absolute worst one depending on the video, its fascinating
@@JoakiBalboa I think its because he goes for really risky ideas- so he ends up with either really easy or really hard places. He doesn't do common or easy, he takes it like a challenge and it sometimes pays off
to combat the issue of having a hard time fully knowing who one of the seekers are, (bowsers kingdom), the seekers should glow gold or some sort of vibrant color so that the hiders will always know who is who. Just a thought
That could probably also fix the whole forgetting to switch to hider problem.
one downside is that it removes the option of "pure bluff"
That’s a good idea, but I think it’s fun for hiders to try to hide among the seekers, and the glow will ruin that technique
Maybe the glow only appears for hiders? That way seekers could still forget who they're searching for, while risky hiders could try to blend in

Alpha’s vod in sand is comprised of him snickering as people waltz right past him repeatedly and it is the funniest shit ever with no context. Joined the stream randomly to see nicro breathing down his neck and smant jumping over him

Hearing CJ shout “WHAT!?” all three times was hilarious.
the sheer amount of funny noises people make during chases never fails to crack me up. CJ being chased in that underground ice area was the most intense chase I have ever seen in a game, and combined with the noises everyone was making and the amazing editing, that automatically made this the best hide and seek video
There were so many great noises, I’m going to have to watch this again sometime

It is a testiment to their skill at Odessey movement that they managed to get the places they did. The comment is just being amused at the contrasting energy they were bringing to Lycel. (Not unusual, Lycels streams tend to be pretty chill whether she's winning or not)

The whole sand round was hilarious, with Fir escaping 3 times, alpha's strategie, cj getting jumpscares all the time. It was hilarious.

Is anyone gonna talk about how Crafty's final round was *14 SECONDS?* As a scholar of the SMO Hide and Seek videos, I can tell you that is the shortest round by anyone ever (where the player actually started their timer). And it came on Bowser's Kingdom, arguably the easiest for the hiders. That was a legendarily bad spot.

One of these rounds should start with Fir in plain view of all the seekers, because he'd probably still survive longer than one of the other hiders
Have to say this one was one of the best! Just for how great the hiding spots were and how they managed to keep pulling away to escape or get caught!

I think ruined shouldn’t be an option anymore. Without the fog it is way too easy for the seekers. The kingdom has two small and relatively linear sub areas and the second smallest overworld in the game only beaten by cloud kingdom.
I would probably try to hide near the Lord of Lightning’s wings. I’ve actually gotten to walk very near to them before.
I’m so sad Cyja let himself get caught in the sand kingdom, 5 secs of invincibility made that the best run yet!!! 5 VS 1
I think the jumpscares and CJ’s screams were the best part. Especially when Smant was camping on the pipe.

You guys should do a version where there is only one person hiding with the invisibility cap and everyone else has to try to find them. But, the hider can't move anymore once the round has begun.

I honestly think it's even more hilarious that the seekers can't tell who's a hider or not!!
But an easy fix is to just give all the seekers an aura or something similar.

I'm so glad this is finally released. I missed the stream so I had to use a syncing VOD service and it was eating away at my data and was being very slow so I am grateful you managed to clip all of this stuff out into one video. I love all this hide and seek content and can never wait for the next one :).

With so many people, I suggest you play a game called Sardines. It's the reverse of Hide n Seek. One person hides, and everyone else hunts them down, joining in hiding once they find the hider. Last person to find the group loses. Doing it in person, it's rather comical when people try to cram into a place not meant for that many people, hence the name Sardines.
Searching experience with the added "other seekers should not know I was here" sounds fun - but as soon as you hide you no longer have any stake in the game, which makes it weird.
The Smant Fir dynamic is too consistent and too funny

But maybe you guys could separate your kingdom wheel into big kingdoms and small kingdoms (and maybe middle kingdoms if you think it’s necessary) so that we don’t have ones like cascade that take 5 minutes and then sand that take 30 because that’s a little unfair to the seekers of sand
Of all the Hide & Seek videos, this is by far thé vert editing. The dual view during pursuits and the little icons were really helpful!
