pretty sure festival has a moon requirement to get in, wich some of them play on any% files wich skips festival all together. (poo's file being the example. since you can see easy moons in his footage. he even complains about how many ungrabbed moons he can see.) there could also be the fact that some of them didnt know you could even repeat festival. the simple fix is all of them to play on 100% saves. outside of that, festival isnt cheating. crafty even confirms that it is technically legal.
There was also that time one of the players paid not to get caught, a time before captures worked where a hider hid in one, and a time where one of the players switched back to hider and hid again a few minutes after getting caught.
It'd be neat if they added a spectate mode similar to Minecraft, so once someone gets caught they can just be invisible and fly around to spectate without tipping off the other team to the remaining people's locations.
Honestly those kind of „unfair“ spots make it worth watching… they have played so many rounds already, so hiding in the same places all the time gets boring… finding new spots is what this game mode is about and the amount of crying about unfair spots in this episode was just unbearable. I like how Poo said “the chop of the Chappell” 4:48
When you're all this good at the game, it feels like cheating should be expected at some point. It's not like it stops an entire team from not finding Katie on a chapel pillar for the entire round from normal oversight, it would just remove drama over cheating or not.
All out of bounds as a ruleset does sound extremely entertaining though.
Poo, you're an excellent peacekeeper. Well done on helping things settle. You're awesome.
"I would've got Fir too if it weren't for you medaling crashes" - Smant
Scooby Doo derivative
meddling
I don't care if its illegal to hide in festival. I've always wanted to see it and finally today is the day
Hour long hide and seek? Today is a great day
SPOILERS FOR FINAL TIMES!

Fir: 25:20

Except you need to remove the lowest time from each. Putting Smants team in 1st.
@KCHgamer I thought the same, but Poo said they had to overcome that challenge, so I felt I'd keep it in there haha :) You're right though!
The production value on these videos just keeps going up across the board from everyone lol I love it
5:18 "I'm surprised nobody was in the bell, they're gold"
that guy had no idea how right he was
Smallant’s chat can’t tell Fir’s obvious sarcasm
I have no clue what Fir and Smallant were thinking, I would have first picked Mars in a heartbeat
Same
No, he should have been picked last tbh
@@The_DemonKing Mars is a woman
@@rainbowskin3379 This guy has a bunch of comments on this video that are explicitly being transphobic.
@@YEs69th420 what's funny is that mars explicitly looks and sounds like a woman. You'd need to go out of your way to find out she's trans.
*gasp* DRAMA!
fir's first spot is the definition of insanity. he got hit and still stays in the exact same spot.
Events: Dramatized
Connection: Lost
Morals: Nonexistent
Me reading the title: drama, what?
Me hearing it's the team hide and seek stream: ohhh I get it now, oh boy
smant using cheap spots, glydon glitching, using the jaxie- yeah he did not deserve this win and i'm glad they gave it to mick lmao
The team format is indeed very freaking good!
I can't wait till the talk about it on safety third.
At first it thought it was a bit, but then the fire department showed up and was like oh this might be real
Thank you for an amazing video as always! This was so fun to watch and the editing was fantastic - just promise us the competitive spirit stays healthy 💪💪
this editing is amazing!!! the maps and cut-aways!! great!
The edits on this are absolutely insane
20:57 "I HAVEN'T HID IN ANY PLANT IN MONTHS" - he says hiding in plant
Just finished watching the international hide and seek video. Excited to watch more
This was one of the most hilarious rounds yet!
Man I love hide and seek
And thus, the saying "You either die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
Next level cheating: switch to seeker mode as you're being chased and just claim that lag is the reason they can't tag you.
@@Boss-Crow You'd only switch it when they're right on your tail, then switch back to hider as soon as you've got some more distance from them. Even if you didn't switch back, it would still be good in this teams format, as you're adding to your teammates' clocks.
5:28 "I'm surprised nobody was in the bell / they're gold"
Don't understand how Festival is considered cheating. it's just a sub area, an you can see them from the overworld 🤷♂
And then just warping as a hider, should keep quiet when he is then even more cheating then using Glidon to escape
(Would have been more fun to watch the Metro round if they wouldn't have ranted the whole Metro search round that they cheated with hiding in Festival)
yeah, glidon glitching to the island is straight up cheating- festival is fine lmao
pretty sure festival has a moon requirement to get in, wich some of them play on any% files wich skips festival all together.
The worst cheating I've ever seen in the hide-and-seek series was when fir (as a hider) changed costume to match a seeker.
There was also that time one of the players paid not to get caught, a time before captures worked where a hider hid in one, and a time where one of the players switched back to hider and hid again a few minutes after getting caught.
That was literally the best i loved it so much
It'd be neat if they added a spectate mode similar to Minecraft, so once someone gets caught they can just be invisible and fly around to spectate without tipping off the other team to the remaining people's locations.
Honestly those kind of „unfair“ spots make it worth watching… they have played so many rounds already, so hiding in the same places all the time gets boring… finding new spots is what this game mode is about and the amount of crying about unfair spots in this episode was just unbearable. Theres a reason for hints and hint art its not like glitch spots or spots like the one in moon cave are unfindable. If the purpose of this game isnt finding cool new spots and having fun discovering them what is?
The Meta evolves once again
38:42 That line got a huge laugh from me. Well played.
This is the still the MOST fun stuff! Teams are the way!
An almost hour long hide n seek vid! Poo you spoil us!
39:24 The absolute sheer will power to not move when someone is literally jumping toward you.
i really like the editing in this video. Great job!
Imagine if Crafty, in the guise of an update, added secret spots only he knew about to cheat in Odyssey Hide and Seek
this is like that viral post about what if we let olympic athletes take performance enhancing drugs just to see what the limits are
The hardest part with this is that both teams are loaded with peeps I ADORE.... Can't decide who to root for....
Amethyst is so sweet omg, she was so worried about everyone getting upset
That moment on top of the Odyssey was damn brilliant!
I got twist a suggestion. Hide n seek, but you can go thro the paintings. you can either hide at spot or go into a different area like cascade to sand. or to bowser
What if the worst hiders get married in the chapel at end?
The editing is amazing!
Oh and all you cuties are fun to watch
did not expect to see Amethyst's real face instead of their fursona they are so pretty!!!
25:14 "He didn't get his dumpy until the year after we voted for Trumpy"
its crazy how much they accused you of cheating although they legit told everyone that firs in a sub area when he wasnt lol
When everyone is cheating, no one is
