I know you finally got the plate secured...but why did you attach the pole before putting the plate into the bolts...would have been easier to move the plate to line up to the bolt! Then attach the pole!
The pole was such a tight fit we used a sludge hammer and went to pound town . To get it on .. if we mount the plate first. The bolts and hinges would take most of the beating, and that's no Bueno
I didn't get a lot out of it we get some pretty good winds.. I truly believe it was a 24v with a 48v tag. I didn't get to figure it out as much before the last storm destroyed it.. I decided not to put it back up with roughly 8kw of solar I just settled for sticking with that..
My neighbor helped me out we used two tractors.. he's 66 yrs old.. no complaints on my part.. awesome guy.. keep in mind we are not professional installers.. when we're ting these things 30ft in the air . Things can go wrong. When they do go wrong, it can be bad..
Hello, can you please help me. I have bought an Instabreeze 2kw 48v and I have a chinese Hybrid Controller 2kw 48v but it seems that it doesn't charge at all. When i connect only two wires it starts spinning and It shows that is charging but when i connect all 3 it slows down (no brake) and only charge up to 50w when outside are strong winds, no matter how strong they are the turbine is not spinning fast enough. The brake works fine and I had winds where it came active. I've tried to disconnect two wires, it starts spinning very fast when i connect the other two it still charging good for another minute then it slows down again for no reason, no break active. Thank you in advance. I have struggling for 1 month and still can't fix the issue.
@@xXJusTMichelxX test the wires from the turbine. Disconnect from the controller and test them there.. then test what the out put of the controller is..
Video could have been like 8 min long. Spent waaaaaaay too much time showing how to turn nuts. What gauge wire there? Even for 48 volts, hope it was 8ga or larger.
Nice! I just installed one my self. Hope you are satisfied with it.
Wind storm destroyed the mount. I decided to not put it back up.. I have the footage in the video
Wack it down with a block of timber ffs

Did you put a 90 bend instead of a swept bend for that cable to run thro the concrete?….
Swept is the way to go. A 90 would be impossible.. Or at best very difficult
Swept
How do I mount the blade hub? Dimple or flat side towards the generator?? HELP??
Flat side toward generator
My friend a question, how many amperes (watts) This taurine (i1500) gives practically when the wind is good

Any issue with water freezing under your hinge plate and separating the hinge from the concrete? Shouldn't there be a drainage space under the hinge?
Yes there is a drain hole under it just for that purpose..
Very slow team, just like slow motion 😄😄😁

What type of batteries are you using? Off grid?
I'm not sure. Batteries with acid like those from cars . 220amps 12w 4 of them
@@xXJusTMichelxX the slowing down of the windmill is normal if it's in charging mode.. it's actually best or it will spin out of control
@@stoneyislandranch9783 The thing is that is not charging at all. I've been told that may be a shortage in the turbine or controller

Good video 👍
Thanks
What cable did you use?
It was 3000 lb rated steel cable with a 10k break force.the anchor want strong enough
How long was that pipe??
32ft
@@stoneyislandranch9783 Drill stem right?? What size??
@@wbuffetjr1 yes it is 4" if I'm not mistaken..
@@stoneyislandranch9783 Can you barely pick up a full stick of it by hand or not at all??
@@wbuffetjr1 you may bust a gut lifting one end. But it would take 3 stout guys to carry the pipe itself..
