      You can buy a cheaper phone and travel w that. I have two phones. One w T-mobile and another I walk around with that doesn’t have financial or important info and then I use the countries sims card. If for some reason it get lost or stolen it no bid deal, I still have my main phone that has all my investments, bills and able to get cash. I have an iPhone 12 and a iphone 8 refurbished

    The best part about this video is I can download the whole report with the video link and read it when I'm on the train 🚆
    Even relaxing at home as I work on changing my mindset to understand this is all doable.
    Slow Traveling around the world 🌎, is very affordable. 😊

    You are always so informative and share great content. Have you ever thought about sharing how much each country's health insurance costs?

    • @VagabondAwake
      @VagabondAwake  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question @user-vm2tc2pr9z, I have one report where I explain what I do about health care and another where I show you how I search for health insurance, and a third report sharing which one I decided to finally buy.
      What I do about health care: vagabondbuddha.com/two-biggest-risks-of-retiring-early-overseas/
      Report where I search for health insurance: vagabondbuddha.com/best-health-insurance-for-ex-pats-in-philippines/
      Here is the Health Insurance I bought (and scams to avoid): th-cam.com/video/0leF_BCLVKw/w-d-xo.html
      By the way, once you search for health care you will start seeing more offers for health insurance and travelers insurance when you are online. Health insurance is one of the most dynamic or changing industries in the travel world because so many people around the world are deciding to live or retire outside their home country. So do a search every year before you renew to make sure you have the best available for your personal circumstances because new ones come out every few months. Thanks for asking so I could answer this for many people! Dan

    Correction from Michael:
    "Gov.vn is a sub domain of .vn (.vn is the tld)
    .gov is a tld (top level domain).
    get.gov/registration/requirements/
    "every request for a .gov domain name is carefully examined by the
    DotGov program to ensure it is from a genuine U.S.-based government or
    public sector organization."
    "Only U.S.-based government and public sector organizations are
    eligible to obtain a .gov domain.
    Thus, in the video, the video should have esed the examples of '.gov.uk' and ',gov.th' instead of uk.gov or th.gov."
    Here is an example of what I mean (this is a real webpage): vietnam.gov.vn/

    So much good information ! I plan on slow traveling in near future. I have a dumb question. If I download any documents I want printed, I'm assuming I can put the pdf file on a thumb drive and print them off at a workplace in almost any country ? Is it that easy ? I'm thinking of flight iteneraries and accomodation confirmations. Probably others. Thanks so much for this video; will watch it a few times !

      In general it seems that SE Asia, especially Thailand, has no beef with it. On the other hand, you won't see much public displays of affection (PDA) in Asia no matter the sexual orientation. Qiang just said 2 women is more accepted than 2 men. Keep in mind, man-woman couples don't do PDA in Asia either so keep that in mind. I have to tell you, I miss PDA living in Asia.

    Ground transportation you have to do your homework. Some countries the train is better than the bus and some countries buses are better. Some countries you might want to buy your bus ticket online so you can pick your type of bus. I am currently in Vietnam and some of the buses are what they call sleeper buses. I made the mistake of showing up to the bus station and got these sleeper buses which I call coffin buses because you are literally lying like you are in a coffin and are very uncomfortable. I got on one and they gave me the seat in the last row which is the shortest seat. So after the first stop I told them I would stand but they found me a longer seat up front. I hate these seats just feels unnatural to ride that way and would rather ride in a crowded minivan. So in Vietnam I would advise people to book ticket online so you can pick your type of bus.

    • @VagabondAwake
      @VagabondAwake  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Its okay to buy online but make suer you check Google, Tripadvisor, and/or Trust pilot to see if the website is a scam or not. :-)
