Custom duties go up on items that can be sourced locally like cosmetics and they do this to protect local industries, they do it to discourage the practice of buying Vaseline from other countries just because it’s branded differently ❤️🤣🤣
Customs is a pain you don't have to explain to me. That thing closed my business 1,2,3. The rates aren't even set so you can't plan ahead. It's crazy but I've managed to find another source that does import those products and even after tax, delivery and all that jazz its still at a better price than what we pay in SA. Or at least the places I know

Especially now in the heat, but keep it and use it on your arms and exposed parts of the body or try it in the winter
