I’m only on 5min of this video but the STING…gal, i 100% agree with you. I nearly died i tell you, i felt like i was going blind. I bought it last week because of the hype and used it only once, i can tell you now, it will never touch my face ever again. I really wanted to love this product but it’s a NO NO from me.
Was about to post my review on Instagram, My eyes couldn't stand it, tears literally came out of my eyes. I love the fact that it's moisturizing and affordable though.
No it really does sting babes , the first time I felt it .. I thought it’s because I was sweating at the gym. Then I applied it again when I wasn’t going to the gym 😰😰😰I was crying through out the whole day !!!!
I recently purchased the sunscreen 3 weeks back and I must say it has to be my fav sunscreen that I have used . My eyes did burn at the beginning but now my eyes do not burn some how, I love it I will def purchase it again
Well that’s wonderful, why can’t I have eyes like yours🤣but I have had sunscreens do that, where they hurt at first but a couple of days on they don’t hurt. I definitely believe that
It stings me every day but I use it cause of how moisturising it is with out making me look oily . I agree with you on the sting 100 % but it’s hard to let go especially cause it nice and thick
You are so lucky you get to save on the sunscreen bill. I promise you if it had worked out I would have never changed brands. It is probably the only one in that size for that price in SA
Please recommend a sunscreen cause the Nivea Sun Q10 Anti-age & Anti-pigments Spf50 is unbearable to wear stinks the hell out of my eyes to a point I start tearing up and getting blinded while driving
I gave this sunscreen chance after chance to redeem itself however it stings and gives me pimples which never happens to me.It was recommended to me 3 years back and to this day it just doesn’t work for me
This sunscreen is frustrating because it’s got so much potential. Maybe if it wasn’t so hyped the brand would actually fix it but now they have no motivation to because we rave about it on the gram
My dermatologist recommended this to me over 10 years ago and I got amazing pimples and black heads. It takes a lot for me to get pimples, I have combination skin type). (Tried it 2 months ago because I figured my skin has matured. Again, the pimples I got were heartbreaking.
@@jusblack_thabi oh my goodness it's literally what I'm going through, I actually figured a few minutes ago that I need to stop using it for a few days and see if I'll see any changes, my skin has been peeling for little over 2 weeks now. I stopped using my normal products except this product yet my skin is going through the most. It's wrinkled😭 I moisturize my face with Vaseline, an hour later it's shedding and so dry. The skin around my eyes is wrinkled haibo. I'll stop using it.
🤣🤣🤣uma usuthi, its wrinkled 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Must be something in the formula that your skin is not loving. When something like that happens try and memorize those ingredients so if you happen to come across another product with the same ingredient/s as dermopal and it does the same to your skin you will know what ingredients to stay away from.
It’s terrible, and by not giving the brand feedback we are shooting our selves in the foot because they will keep giving us this formula thinking we love it as is
For me too the only issue is the eyes. I wore it under makeup on Friday and had no issues and that made me very happy. So it’s now my go to make up base. Will try set it with powder on days I am but wearing make up and see how that works.
I've been using it since forever ❤️❤️i have love hate relationship with it, sometimes the tingling if it get to my eye, not always but my skin love it, been using more than 10 years fpr real
I like the island tribe but the one i have now is a lotion and, it’s a R100 for 200ml but it’s a bit heavy for the hot season so I am hoping to get the gel version of it later. I will try it and do a shorts video before the week ends. To let you know if it’s worth a try.
It is a local brand, a good product at that but with it unlike the nakolwethu I can’t say it hurts the eye sometimes, it is consistent with the irritation . We should’nt live like that in the name of preventing premature ageing 😱
Oh you mean Eucerin is that “oh shoot what’s going on with my eyes” sunscreen for you? I can definitely believe that because they have a slight irritation on me too.
This sunscreen is not for me, it's oily and clogged my pores. My daughter uses it and she loves it, it's moisturizing for her as she has dry skin. But for me, it's a big NO.
I said to my niece I suspect she can’t apply sunscreen properly because I just couldn’t believe she had no issues with it. Now I am convinced it’s for the young bloods 🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣we deserve better on this life
We do hey! We can’t afford to be causing accidents on the road because of a sunscreen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have the most sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts but I am now on day 5 using this sunscreen and so far so good. No stinging at all.

🤣🤣🤣try Island Tribe lotion it’s also thick and a lot easier on the eye
I love this sunscreen,no stings nothing ☺💛

so true 🥺. I broke out so much after using it.
I suspect my niece is also having a reaction but we are doing a process of elimination to figure out if it is the sunscreen or if it’s something else
My dermatologist recommended this to me over 10 years ago and I got amazing pimples and black heads. It takes a lot for me to get pimples, I have combination skin type). (Tried it 2 months ago because I figured my skin has matured. Again, the pimples I got were heartbreaking.
Someone had their skin shed as if they’d had a chemical peel 😱
@@jusblack_thabi I’ll take pimples over shedding 😅.
🤣🤣I’d rather a sunscreen do none of those things THANK YOU🤣

Yoo the STING,!! OMG! but i love it nonetheless 😂😂
Wait a minute. A makeup sponge to apply sunscreen on makeup. I didn’t even know this.
Yah make up sponge reapplies sunscreen very nicely.
@@jusblack_thabi I didn't know about this I'm gonna try it
It saves money if you find a sunscreen that won’t move your foundation. Then you wouldn’t need to buy sprays.
@@kelebogilemillicent1392 Me too
Does it have a matifying finish?
It does wonders for me, 🤞🤞🤞🤞

At this point you should just marry the sunscreen and take it’s last name. 10
Years on a product🤣😱if that’s not dedication then I don’t know
But it mosturises skin very well ngl
I need to get a sun screen 😩......
Please do my chef. Mina nawe siya kude and we need to look good at those culinary events not with sun spots🤣I am claiming it.

I didn’t know this product was locally manufactured. I think, actually I know, when it comes to local brands our influencers are more lenient
