    Doesnt matter if the racket is horizontal or not. As long as it's under the first rip and you hit upwards :)

    hoo must feel great to partner LCW

  • @0llieftw
    @0llieftw 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Err it was to do with the sides of the hall. LCW didn't get used to that side until the 3rd end. And he didn't even get destroyed slightly. The 3rd end was 19 and was a huge rally, anyone could have won.

  • @0llieftw
    @0llieftw 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    'almost completely horizontal' - that means it's not illegal so why would she be faulted lol.
    She's just pushing the boundaries to make sure her serve is as good as possible.

  • @sunnieyee2610
    @sunnieyee2610 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think he's used to play single thus he pretty much cover the entire court. I thought the serving should be hit below the waist but seems like both of the ladies are above.
    Anyway, most of LCW smashes were aimed at guy rather than the girl. What a gentleman :)

    • @huaxzhang
      @huaxzhang 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both LCW and VH are from the National Team. I'm not sure if their opponents are. If the games/scores are much closer, that would be a real test if LCW could still be a gentleman! :)
      BTW, have a look at the rally around 2:30. All the shots were directed at the girl.

    • @bznzman
      @bznzman 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@huaxzhang their opponents were at least i guess, a national player. The big guy was my coach and he was the big brother of Hafiz Hashim. His name's Muhammad Hashim but i called him Cik Mat. Yes he was a national player.

    • @bznzman

      The big guy had already experienced it i guess. He was older than LCW that time. He was the big brother of Hafiz Hashim. And my coach

    Yes he is, but he won't be able to stand a chance against the top mixed doubles pairs in the world. He and vivian won't be a threat

    • @huaxzhang
      @huaxzhang 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      LCW/VH had played a match against Chan/Goh of Malaysia team. I think LCW/VH beat this pair in the final (same tournament?). But that might be because Got had known injury requiring a surgery.

    @wahpahhhh singles players cant beat a top10 doubles pair without special doublestraining. they need time to get used to each others play, especially for right-lefthander combination like LD/LCW. they couldnt use they dive-defense but they need perfect body-defense in doubles. even though they are great players in their disciplines, i dont think we will see many players in the future who will win major titles in singles AND doubles/mixed doubles

      LCW almost won in London, he had led in the final set but blew it, but I wouldn’t call that getting destroyed.
