Now that Chen Long has been consistently beating Chong Wei, I would really love to see a match-up between the on-form Chen Long and Lin Dan in an official game.
RJS98 It's mostly swinging technique and the hard part is to adjust your body position with movement to give you the best possible backhand swing which will come with experience when you try to play it during the games. It took me around 1 or 1.5 years to improve my backhand and now I have one of the bests if not the best backhand in the 2 clubs that I usually go to.

I always felt LCW often uses a bad game plan when playing Chen Long. LCW is obviously faster so there should little problem dictating the pace and no reason to lift the shuttle so often. He should have kept the bird low more, stretch the tall Chen Long diagonally and attack the body more.
i totally concur with the idea of lcw not to lift the shuttle more.. he does this against lin dan as well.. whereas few players as ginting do not lift the shuttle.. and other thing is the cross court smashes... chen long and lin dan are very good at this... and lcw gives them that deep backhand where they hit unreachable cross court winner.. lcw is unbelievable.. but he always missed the minor tactics.. skill wise... he is god.. he lost all the gold medals everywhere from winning positions.. due to little tactics.. i am no great player.. but a fan of lcw..
