the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

Great work Jimmy. The 2:20 mark shows an excellent tip where you mark you spot on both boards, then flip the positions. Genius.

Beautifully Crafted. Betting no one else has a Display Case with that much Character and standout presence. I'm sure the folks at Geo. Dickel are proud, and appreciative of it !!

I am Godsmacked. Dude, your skill is off the charts, but your imagination is what is so impressive. Taking something worthless and coming up with an idea to make it a one of a kind piece of art is...well, badass. The way you came up with the inlay for the tailgate is the crowing touch. You have the gift, that much is certain!

Such a simple idea. I would have been happy without the wheels but the way you mounted them....again a very simple idea that works so well. The plastic pressed metal is a stroke of genius. That is an awesome piece of work, well done JD.

I'll say it just as a few others have... VERY INSPIRING. I love how a few of your techniques in past videos come into play on this one. CNC, form pressing, cabinetry, patina paint, car demo (like the car coffee table). Your minds eye see the end product and with all your experience and techniques you just go at it. You make it look easy. Hats off! Also, Nick Bilton a bud of yours from NY says "hi". I showed him your toybacker campaign and he was blown away.

Oh yeah, and I had a good laugh at the 3:40 mark... those of us with tight quarters in our shops totally understand having to temporarily prop something up so that we can get at a tool!! :-)
    Keep it up, Jimmy!

+jimmydiresta The patch they created to fix the 301 view bug is still in the Beta stage for the most part it is working, but it has seen a couple of glitches. It's my understanding that once a video reaches 50,000 views it somehow corrects itself. It will not effect your ad revenue only how it displays on the player page. Check your analytics, it may be showing there correctly. BTW GREAT BUILD !!! Can't wait to meet you in KC at WIA

Jimmy this is awesome! I think the fresh wood stands out nicely with the rusted body. It'd be cool to see you hack an old truck up to be a bed. Have the back of the cab be the headboard and replace the rear window with a mirror.

Well, I think the steel wool itself rusted away, and left its rust streaks, which were later coated in a clear polyurethane spray or something to encapsulate the streaks onto the surface of the plastic. That's my guess 😀

+Mathieu D I think he knows, he was simply referring to a video where Peter Brown used a salt block to make a bracelet, he used a Lathe to mill the bracelet from the salt block (Salt corrodes metal quickly that's why he hates using salt around his power tools) lol
