    A surprising number of connections to both the radio modules but they are digitally tuned (perhaps part of the code key is the selected frequency) so that requires at least 3 more wires.
    Dual conversion receiver by the look of it, text book design with lots of discreet tuning and what look like standard IF filters. The Plessey SL6652 is a IF mixer and FM demodulator.
    GPS=GEC Plessey Semiconductors
    The NJ88C30 and NJ88C50 are Frequency synthesizers so the NJ88C40 is probably similar.

    We learned to rebuild the caliper in school long ago using a small hone and a rebuild kit. If the piston was damaged/scratched, it was replaced otherwise, the brake fluid would leak past the square O ring and the side of the piston.
    Discolored rotors are a great sign that they've been overheated by dragging pads.
    Thanks for the video. 😊

    Stickers can often be removed relatively intact (sans some of the glue) with a utility razor blade....

    Its pretty amusing that it uses a fairly generic PIC chip in there. It likely controls the firing press sequence that if good then it transmits the code. I have a feeling the code plug contains a small prom chip, probably the same type used for special functions enable on industrial equipment.

      MCS51, not PIC. Very different architectures (PIC can actually be faster and lower power, but the architecture is barbaric and really unfriendly to programming it with anything but assembly language :) ).
