I would like these too, but given the game focuses more on the PvP modes of Halo and not "in universe" battles, I'm not sure we'll see them in this incarnation.
This was a day one pre-order for me. Im hoping that if I support this, maybe Mantic will port over their 40k/legion sized game for Halo. 5 years is plenty of time to flesh out a wargame if they really want to.
Crazy hyped for this game. Never thought I would see a Halo based miniatures game. I love that they are starting simple with the 4v4 arena style mode which can later be expanded into a full on wargame later. This is a dream come true. This likely is the game that finally gets my son wanting to play tabletop. The day I put a grunt into my son's hands can't come fast enough.
I kinda wish they have other factions aside from just UNSC Spartans. Adding in Banished, Storm Covenant, Swords of Sanghelios or the remaining prophets would be nice.
It makes sense to start off with Elites since they're just more popular than the Brutes are. It would be cool to see Grunts and Jackals as well, just swarm your opponent with low cost chumps.
I took my me look at this game a new it was gonna be a day one buy for me. My 9 year old loves Halo and I love board/table top games so it’s a no brainer.
When I first saw the models I was excited but after seeing the gameplay, eh. I mean it's kind of neat but I was hoping for a full-on Halo wargame with factions and vehicles, akin to Warhammer or Bolt Action. This looks like a fun game to pass an evening though.
A company made this game in 2016. They immediately went under after launch. There is a dedicated community online that provides files for cards, books and models. Halo Ground Command
It’s great based of deadzone rules you should try it out. It’s a wargame and on a grid just look at how it works. Halo is a flash and Deadzone is life!
Are you excited for Halo Flashpoint, and what would you most like to see come to the game?
Yes! Super excited! Spartans are just so cool.
They need lower tier units, too. Like grunts, jackals, marines, etc.
I agree! I wanna see ODSTs

That would be very sick! I'm hoping the game does well so they will have a good reason to
I want Elites, Brutes, Jackals, and Grunts!
For sure 🎉

That's awesome to hear! I also like the idea that things are ramping up, super excited to see what's next

They have banished (the elites). Rumor has it they plan to expand into more, but we will have to wait and see
There are Banished Elites in the Spartan Edition and the Banished are going to be the first new faction to be expanded according to Mantic's CEO.
I want ODST added
Same!!
Sending this video to my friend who's a Halo fan
Awesome!
I hope it gets a solo campaign mode in the vain of Five Parsecs From Home
That would be sick!

Yeah I'm hoping we get some little dudes too. Grunts and ODSTs and Jackals
dude fuck yeah i'm so hyped for this shit
Same!!
Halo is very exciting! Can't wait to play.
Same here, it looks cool

It seems like it'll be light and fun, I'm hoping it grows into something bigger and more like that, but we'll see
Now we just need an official ttrpg
Right?!?! how does that not exist?
Idk if it's official, but Mythic RPG is Halo. We did a one-shot in December. Super fun!
Yeah but it has squares, right? That automatically labels it as a boardgame, not tabletop gaming

So Battletech is not a wargame?
@@ausaskar hmm id ont know, labels can get blurry sometimes. But squares are very boardgamy
@@pabloalonsolasagabaster658 The squares are used for movement, but positioning within the square matters for LOS and cover.
